Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer, both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. In fact, everyday can be a celebration of life…just take a few moments..and you will find that you are “richer” than you think you are :D You can view and buy my other “Celebration Of Life” products at my Zazzle Gallery:

I saw this rusted frame of a bike on the borders of this wheat field, when I saw it it reminded me of the times I spent as a kid wheeling around my own bike with a hockey card in the spokes and the flag raised high on the back and I even had a streamer or two flapping in the wind off my handlebars. To me this old rusted frame symbolizes the wonderful experiences of a fantastic childhood full of laughter, smiles and fond memories, but time is our enemy and for many of us it fades our once cherished memories to distant glimmers that flicker by on rare occasions, and like this old rusted frame are soon forgotten and will eventually fade completely. / / This replaces a previous version of the image Lost & Found. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /
P/S Retouched by Ange. Digital photos shot/styled by Alex Viscontini, 2008. Model: Roberta. P/S combined two shots (originals below which lacked edge on their own) to create one finished image. Model wasn’t appropriate for the shoot making it difficult for Alex to achieve what he had in mind. I retouched/airbrushed face/body, emphasised eyes, arched eyebrows, closed lips & enlarged them, minimised jawline, lengthened body/legs, re-worked hair/background elements, changed overall body perspective & added a magenta selective colour layer adjustment.
... so I went to the airshow in Southend, Essex yesterday … what a gorgeous day we had, blessed with beautiful weather, and what a fantastic show!!! :)
This was a difficult shot. After this wave the tripod the camera was on was in about 15cm of water. My shorts were wet. The tide rush up to the rock I was sitting on. The lens filter was covered in mist. I had wrapped the camera up in plastic bags, and my feet were freezing from being in and out of the water. The mist on the camera filter made it look like a painting. taken with a canon 450D wrapped up in plastic at West Beach, with Glenelg on the horizon. A cropped 1:1 version; /
just something my brother did that looked kinda cool :)
