  • Come to think of it, we are all six word stories. / Here is me, where are you?

  • This is a sequel to You Tell Me The Story / where I asked for interpretations of the art. From the feedback that I got I created this story. Thank you so much all who contributed, it was fun and enlightening! The Brightening Within the bowls of the earth, in a dark abyss, could be heard sorrowful sounds, likened to a pipe organ playing dirges so dark they could be felt as well as heard, and to those with special gifts, could even be seen! Therein resided a dark and sinister sorcerer, arms reaching upward, casting spells of evil, darkening the whole land. / Through golden streams, a veil as it were, between dimensions, the benevolent yet powerful angelic being, likened to a golden eagle, emerged and took possession of the evil one, melding and morphing him into a grand, and wise, and benevolent wizard of light! / The sound of the pipe organ began changing from dirges of the dark, to songs of praise and adulation and light that not only could be felt and heard and seen, but reached deep into the soul of all that it touched! The great wizard raised his arms toward the heavens, and with encantations only known by the most wise, commanded change! The darkness began turning to light, the fire and brimstone into flowing gold. The brightness eminated to the farthest and darkest regions of the earth, even to meet with the brightest light of all from above, the creator of the universe, and beyond! Hallelujah!

  • words like that
    by Yasemin Sumner

she knows its not right to yearn and so she waits and waits for him to notice something about her but he only thing he notices is others …

  • Do you know about words called “homonyms”? / This is an example of it… Have fun! / p.s. If you like to have it in any other color theme do not hesitate to ask me:) Another Style of This Tee: / More Photos: / /

  • This is a pic of one of my poems, or short stories, I’m not exactly sure what I was taking a pic of. I held the camera to give it a Star Wars intro, kinda effect. This is where the words start out clear at the top, then become more blury, as they reach the bottom. I took this pic with the Panasonic LUMIX, DC VARIO, 7.2 Mega Pixel, 3x Zoom.

  • They say that a picture says more than a thousand words… But how much do you need to show to tell a story? I believe that a small detail is enough. So stop reading and go watch them now. And stay tuned, all the stories are long! Images by month: / Title: See 4. / 1. Seen ages… / 2. Tea time dreaming / 3. Eyes of an old house / 4. Imperfect / 5. Close and different / 6. • I have always been a fan of the dictionary ! :) These hibiscus are from my garden in Florida. / Fort myers, Florida

  • mixed media on canvas 20”x24” one of a series of ongoing portraits….....

  • I uploaded another version of this one (in full color)...but I was playing around and liked the timeless feeling of this one as well. I saw this book during a walk in New York City…all by itself.

  • Another illustration made for a children’s magazine to go with a short story (chance it might get published but so far I haven’t been lucky so I’m not counting on it =P ). / It’s about a princess who sees an old man in a mirror, and he turns out to be a wizard. He then takes her to the Land of 1000 Words, where everything is made out of words. A bit of an experiment again with this one. The background is made out of pieces of newspaper, on which I painted the image with ink. And then I cut out the letters and glued them to the image, and touched it all up a bit with coloured pencils. =)

  • I’ve been sitting on this rough image for long enough without the foggiest notion what I want the duckling to be “saying”. So, I’m now leaving it up to all of you! If you want to, write your responses as if the duckling was talking. It can be anything from the original title: “Wow, what an assortment!” to one of those weird mental flows of fantasy I’m prone to. No limits on word amounts, no limits on variety (sans the words that would get the piece marked ‘unsafe for office viewing’. Keeping it clean with be harder but more fun for the kids. :-) ), no editing from me. Just your imagination and a duck. What could go possibly go awry with THIS? LMAO Have fun!

  • Another entry from my leather moleskin journal. This was a reflection on how we’ve all got so many untold stories. I don’t want to go to my grave without passing on my stories that are worth passing on especially if there’s a chance those stories could affect or help another in any positive way. The same goes for my whole family…. I don’t want them passing without me finding out their important untold stories. I still don’t know half as much as I’d like to know about my Grandfather’s prisoner of war days and he passed many a year ago. So that story is with my Dad now and once he’s gone the story will be too. Perhaps I’ll sit down with Dad soon and write it all down? And then there’s so many of my own personal stories that only I, myself know. One’s that Im’ just not ready to share with another yet… whether emotional, physical or spiritual I just can’t put them out there just yet. I am sure one day though I’ll probably be ready to share them. What untold stories do you have that you’d like to make sure get passed on before you die?
