  • First Taste Of Rain
    by Nancy Coyle

    US$4.56–US$121.60

This was my 3 year old daughters first time playing in the rain. It was so amazing to watch her delight . I think we can all relate to tilting our faces up toward the heavens, trying to catch the rain as it falls on our cheeks.

  • Just a shot

  • Summer Spectacular
    by Helen Simpson

    US$4.28–US$114.00

A February storm unleashes its power in the beauty of non-stop lightning over Spencer Gulf in South Australia. This 15 second exposure shows just a small sample of a spectacular night’s viewing. The tiny lit chimney, that you can see on the left (which belongs to the lead smelter in Port Pirie), is actually 205 metres in height, which gives perspective to this, the power of natures finest glory.

    by Rhana Griffin

    US$5.99–US$159.60

Life is a blank canvas. Tonight… this is how I colour mine. Tulips on Table Cape

  • Green Weed Cove
    by Brent Pearson

    US$3.42–US$91.20

During Spring for a few weeks you get this really intense green weed hitting the Sydney coast line…. I loved the contrast and textures of the green weed against the blur of a long exposure (30sec +) of the ocean and a nice dramatic sky.

  • JUST ELOPED!
    by Mugsy

    US$3.71–US$98.80

  • Creative / I created this image to remind us of the consequences of our actions if we continue to take our precious environment for granted. The location chosen is Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, a city free from catastrophic disaster. That is until Mother Nature turns back on us. We can keep running from what we have done but this is infinite future chaos! Thanks to Rikki & Jess for being models. You can see the before and after shots here Technical / The background was shot in 3 sections and stitched together in Photoshop CS3. Various parts from extra shots were used i.e. The Seven sign and text from another shot I took. I also cloned out people and objects as well as added elements to create this scene. The background, clouds, Rikki and Jess were shot separately on an old but trusty Canon 10D in RAW mode. Other images were sourced online and manipulated beyond original recognition. Once I had all the elements I needed I composited it all together in Photoshop CS3. I had to create some elements such as texture, debris, snapped cables and smoke from scratch using the good old airbrush and pen tools with various brushes all made easier with a A4 Wacom tablet but found that the mouse was sometimes better for other tasks. A lot of masking, deep etching, cloning, dodging and burning went into making this image what it is. Once complete I colour graded it to give it a real sense of drama and darkness.

  • "The Covenant"
    by Phil Thomson IPA

    US$3.71–US$98.80

Genesis 9:12-14 (New King James Version) 12. And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13. I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; / God’s Promise to Noah, after The Great Flood !! This truly was one of those “Magic of the Moment” times from God, a Divine Appointment, being in the right place at the right time, with no added special effects, all natural light !!!! The Covenant / Author: martin steinbrugger Having once beheld His glory shinning down from above… / My drought stricken life is now as a reservoir, / Constantly being renewed with God’s love. There’s only a remnant here and there of my barren past… / For behold God’s promise to heal and renew, / Is most certainly coming too pass. Water of life overflowing my soul… / Bringing forth the blessing and joy of knowing, / It is not I, but God who is in control. Covenant blessing under His bow shall I kneel… / For it is by His stripes and His stripes alone, / That my wounded soul has been healed. Inspired by Phil Thomson’s photo “The Covenant”

  • Often the storm chasing day ends not with the last glow of the setting sun, but with a photogenic show of pyrotechnics dancing from cloud to cloud and into the ground and lasting well into the night. This strike was captured just a few miles from my home after a long day of driving and looking for marvelous supercells and their awe-inspiring structures. Typically, any isolated cells that form during the day in western Oklahoma will race through the portions of Oklahoma that I call home, I just have to drive back ahead of the racing squall line and on such days will end the hunt with a tripod and a camera on this gravel road. It isn’t a part of my public offered storm chasing tours, but instead just my time to relax, snap shutters and enjoy my favorite hobby – lightning photography. I’ve always hoped for a dead centered strike at the end of this long gravel driveway. So many times I have closed my eyes and envisioned this very shot. Then, one night in 2006 after a long day’s work of hunting down tornadoes I ended my chase day in this fashion, opened the shutter and waited – “bang” – I had it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Be sure to check out my company, Violent Skies we offer Storm Chasing Tours! It’s a great opportunity for anyone who wants to chase storms to improve their lightning photography skills and see awe-inspiring photogenic storms. www.violentskiestours.com

  • In the Beginning...
    by Geoff Coleman

    US$4.28–US$114.00

It fascinates me how creation myths and evolutionary thought seem to converge around the possibility of a spark such as this igniting life. / Taken off the “Balcony” – a beautiful section of coastal cliffs in Royal National Park just south of Sydney Australia during a spectacular storm. I’ve shot about half a dozen storms here this year. The others all drifted out to sea which made them nice and safe and easy to photo so I got lulled into a false sense of security with this one. It decided to head straight up to where I was photographing and at one stage I had to hide under a rock overhang with bolts going off all around – deeply scary but wouldn’t have missed it for anything – a magic night of biblical proportions I can tell you and one I’ll never forget. More in this series coming shortly. / Canon 30D / Tv: 30s / Av: f3.5 / ISO: 100 / FL: 17mm

  • Carved by Nature's Wrath
    by earthairfire

    US$4.70–US$125.40

Carved By Nature’s Wrath / The 12 Apostles, Victoria Following a day of torrential rain and gale force winds, the sun shone momentarily, lighting up the moody sky, before plunging the rugged coastline into complete darkness. As night falls, a solitary waterfall is all that remains of the passing storms, returning the much needed rain to the swollen seas of the shipwreck coast. • Island in the Storm
    by DawsonImages

    US$6.27–US$167.20

A favorite image of mine for the message that it contained for me. A small island nearly swept over by the incoming tides as a small crack in the gathering storm allowed for a colorful sunset on this PAcific Ocean beach. An image with a message in it for me, for while the world can be swirling around you, your faith can be that refuge, that rock to grab onto as the world flies by you.
