Fog rising after a summer storm in this East Tennessee mountain farm setting
An old barn with a rusty tin roof in rural East Tennessee in sepia tone
This is a picture of our SRT-4 that was taken out of storage. The car only has 9K miles on it. And it is going to stay that way. I parked it there and tried to get an action shot. I like the next one that has the wheels cocked to the side.

I’m fairly excited about the new updates that just happened to Picasa. I have been using Picasa now for a while, both the web album and photo organizer/editor for my photography. It was a wonderful thing to sign up for since I use google blogger, I can publish photos directly to my blog from Picasa …too easy Well they really added some great features, I haven’t had a chance to check them out yet but what I’ve seen so far is impressive. I tend to go back and forth fighting myself on the topic of processing my photography, I like to keep it minimal if I can and that’s what I like about Picasa. They really had minimal tools available, basically crop and shadow fill were the only two I used and did so sparingly unless I wanted to have a little fun. The updates: The new basic tools I see are retouch and text, both great additions and not anything too crazy. Other than that, there’s the geotag option ...I’m not sure but this could have already been an option – I usually just use Flickr for geotagging anyways. Some buttons are a little shinier but other than that they just rearranged tools and made things easier to use. - Evan
Saw this eyecatching row of garage doors on my way to Galvaston, Texas
I drilled a hole in the potato to take photos through. I temporarily put the potato on the liquid nails tube while I searched for something to photograph through it. That potato a year later, will update at two years:

I took a drive out to the wheat belt out here in Western Australia over the weekend, and I stopped at various locations along the way. / It was the first day of sunshine this month, and the first taste of spring. This is a photo of a windmill that I came across while out on my drive. EOS 500D. Featured In: Australian Landmarks and Icons, WA Red Bubbles Mk II, Windmills & Ferris wheels.
