Sometimes those days come where your like… I really should take a photo of this shouldn’t I? So I walked across to the road from the bus stop where I was waiting to be picked up. Seeing the sunset through the 80-200 peaked me out. I shot until the card was full and this is the first of 3 images… The special things in this shot 1. If you look closely at the sun it’s setting behind a building and the 2 towers actually make the sun look like it has horns. 2. The guy riding his bike past just at that moment… 3. The stop light and rich colour in the frame.

One thing I’ve learned – it’s hard, almost impossible for me to force creativity. I walk, I sit, I observe, I wait – and when I least expect it, that’s when I can create. © 2008 Sara Lamond. All rights reserved.
Prisma colored pencil, touched up with a lot of color on the computer, trying to darken so it stands out crisper on the tees
Original is in prisma colored pencils, been trying to darken with colors on the computer so it looks crisper & sharper on the tee in small view. Still looks like crap to me in the small view, any suggestions? It does look more detailed in the zoom view
Pausing for a moment during the storm.
Stop working too hard and enjoy your summer. I saw the stoplight silhouetted against the sky and thought that would be a nice shot, then almost didn’t take it as I was on my way to work. When I got to work and saw the shot I realized how absurd it was that im almost didn’t stop to take this picture.
A kind of befitting title for this little photo I took as I was aiming for the church steeple in the background, while riding in the car. Also the name of the street is befitting because he is the center of our lives (being).
This was taken from our tour bus in Beijing. /
