This is a collection of photos i have taken of things that have caught my imagination or eye. It is a mixture of things that i have also tried to tie in to the months. / i thought i would see what it looked like to make one.

Great Wall Heroes / Great Wall is the only man made architecture in the world that can be seen in the outer space! Having built long since ancient time, nowadays many sections of it have been ruined by natural disasters. Because of the remote and usually hard to reach geological locations that it extends into, heavy machinery and modern maintenance methodology cannot be deployed to restore those destroyed area. It is these local construction workers you’ll see in the calendar’s pictures that are putting in a great effort to re-build it, by using handy tools most of the time. / The repairing materials would be picked up by donkeys or horses and then delivered, by climbing through some narrow and winding trails, to particular spots where the workers were working on one at a time. The exposed stones you see in the pictures are actually the “ORIGINAL STONES” that were used couple of thousand years ago when the Great Wall was being built!!
