This is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas. I love to paint vegetables and fruit in glass and silver. I like the transparency of the crystal with the distorted green capsicum showing through. This painting is watercolour on paper. The Royal Art Society’s next exhibition is a challenge. To do a painting incorporating food and/or drink with the landscape. I chose to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a background, looking out of a window. And I painted my favourite subjects, apples and silver on a check tablecloth.
