This is the shoot of the sitting of my Archibald painting with the Sydney based violinist/ singer/ songerwriter/ Muse, Sophie Serafino. We are on location at Lilifields. a loverly little flowershop in Paddington, NSW Australia.

On location at Lilifields in Paddington. It was THIS photo that made me want to paint her for the portrait of the entry I was to submit. You cant own the original painting as i gave it to Sophie but you can own this beautiful HQ piece here!

Sophie Serafino at Lilifields. I had experimented with many different shots. Primarily I wanted a shot with her with the violin as the AGNSW would probablt think she was an actor in Home and Away or somthing. This is a shot that was not to be wasted and not seen in my vaults. I suppose for my next Archibald attempt at Sophie I could paint her with whatever as she is beautiful by herself!

Again, I have nothing but praise for this young artist. She has the music that goes beyond Andre Rieu! Ten times the violinist Nigel Kennedy is. The flowers are a favourate of Sophie so why not have the shoot at the same place that sells my paintings? A perfect symbiosis of creative thinking v networking v positive ideas department of thought!
