  • A cordless drill and other tools from the work shop being used in place of kitchen tools. / I know a lady who did use her husbands power drill in place of her mixer after it quick working. She had a Black & Decker kitchen tool before B&D made kitchen tools. That kinda where I came up with the idea for this picture. MY BUBBLESITE

  • This Picture is no longer available as a card, because the writing get cut off. / But I now also have the same picture with white border added available as a card. / Grandma’s Coffee Cookies (recipe) w/ white border / Grandma’s Coffee Cookies / / 2 cups brown sugar / 1 cup butter / 1 cup cold leftover coffee / 1 egg / 3 cups flour / 1 tsp. baking soda / 1 tsp. baking powder / 1 tsp. cinnamon / ¾ tsp. nutmeg / 1 cup raisins, blanched (pour boiling water over raisins and let sit for 5 minutes, then drain) / 1 cup walnuts Mix brown sugar and butter together; blend in cold coffee. Beat in egg. Mix dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 12-14 minutes A beautiful, soft drop cookie. / Freeze well.   • La Salle is just off HWY 16 about 30 miles west of McBride BC in the Robson Valley. I grew up just a few miles from this spot. The Mountain in the background is nick named Hammer Mountain because Many years ago, I think before I was born, a forest fire left a scar in the shape of a hammer head just below tree line and below and to left of the highest peak. View large and see if you can spot it. / I took this photo over 20 years ago with my Canon AE-1 Program film camera. Captured on Kodak 100asa film.

  • A favorite recipe of my wife & I. / Photo capture with a Canon Powershot A570 IS. Chicken & Dumplings / Chicken / 4 large, boneless chicken breast / cut into strips. / 4 cubes chicken bullion / 1 small onion, chopped / Parley, salt & pepper to taste Dumpling / 2 cups flour / 2 eggs / ½ up sour cream / ½ cup chicken broth / ½ cup cornstarch 1.Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. / Add chicken bullion, onion, parley, salt & pepper. / Cook for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. / Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer. 2.While chicken is cooking, combine in medium bowl flour, eggs, sour cream & broth. / Mix well and roll out dough on a floured surface. / Cut into squares and drop into boiling chicken mixture. / In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and enough water to form a thin paste, stir into the pot. / Continue to simmer 5-10 minutes or until dumplings are light & fluffy.
