An interior of a MASSIVE warehouse/factory on Cockatoo. Kinda reminds me of Metropolis or Blade Runner

Scum. / Wretched, scavanging scum! / And this one coming in is the worst of a bad lot. But he really is good at what he does. He always brings me the BEST goods. / A.I. chips, hydrolic lifters, copper cabling…..sometimes mechanised body parts. / Never the boring stuff. / I don’t pay him what they’re worth of course, but I pay NOW. And he’s saving for a trip out, so who else can he go to? Scavanging isn’t illegal, yet, but the ‘powers that be’ certainly frown on those that practice the art. / Too much of a chance all that wasteland dust will make ‘em crazy. Unpredictable. / Dangerous. I’ll give him what I give him and he’ll be happy. / He’ll never get out of here anyway….and that’s fine with me. / As long as he keeps hunting the wastes for me. This is the counter to my ‘Battle Scarred’ zone hunter. Not a nice man at all, but a necessary evil. In my little world, there are a LOT of necessary evils. Graphite on paper. / (again, I may sometime add colour….but not just now.) Cyberpunk or Shadowrun

A little known fact: Cassette tapes were at their height of popularity in the early 19th century.
Just landed on an alien planet, Bianca Suresh removes her helmet and smells the clear crisp air, shaking the long drive out of her hair. New earthospheres always smell a bit quaint at first, this one has a tinge almost of dry orange peel… baking, but livable, sun. Anyway, its all clear from this vantage point, time to pop the hood and recalibrate the mag for ground hopping. Hope you enjoy this piece or retro scifi pop madness.. especially the car and her suits heart shaped oxypack, cheers, gord.
Okay… I feel kind of weird submitting rough sketches… Kinda feels like they aren’t the complete and final thing, but I guess that’s kind of the point. But hey, it’s still art, right? :) / Enjoy and please tell me what you like or don’t like about it, what I can improve on or what looks good. Thanks! :)

Design for a race in a tabletop RPG I’m writing with a couple of friends. “The Victed” are steampunk cowboys from the moon. Overload of cool? I think so. This specimen is called Barry. He specialises in tying red hankies around different body parts. Today, he has chosen the thigh. That Barry! Techniques: An experiment in something entirely unique this time. I didn’t go over in fineliner – rather, because I loved the tone I’d created in pencil on the metal armour so much, I scanned it in as is, and just bumped up the contrast before colouring with the “darken” tool. It has a refined watercolour look.
T shirt version of the artwork. Ink on paper, via photo shop. Uploading this I realised I’ve got into a serious rut in terms of putting designs on dark shirts, so this one’s a little brighter by default.

A Vector Design of an Art Deco steampunk style gasmask that mimics the look of a skull and crossbones.
back to what started this, a rather boring background that was perfect to photomanipulate into something more interesting. It resulted in a kind of gothic look and I got the steampunk idea as an evolution of my original aperture/eye concept. It was fun to mix in the vector graphics with a variety of photo layers, foreground model is from the stock photography of Marcus Ranum [photography.ranum.com] this image has been featured in JPG Cast-Offs this image has been featured in NO! NO! NOT THE COMFY CHAIR!!! the reduce resolution sort of oddly sharpness this image and inspired me to continue with some zoom-type variations ... just a simple adustment on the glasses and we can zoom back out … /
This little weed standing up is not photoshopped there. I was waiting for the wind to blow just right and make it stand on end.
