  • This photo was taken just south of Fraser Island in Queensland. With a 30 second exposure at f10 this gave the picture a fairly surreal feel about it.

  • / manchester, office block….

  • Taken at parliament house on a photographic visit to Canberra.

  • More art than photo, really… took this in a near-whiteout at Perisher, and extracted the main tree by massively increasing contrast and levels. Hence the slight fuzziness, hence the large drop-off in detail behind the tree, and hence (I think) the rather pleasing effect!

  • The Blue Ridge Mountains as seen from an overlook along Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia in January 1994. / / Portfolio Areas / Tigers / Wildlife / Macro / Landscape / Birds / Abstracts / Cats~wild and domestic

  • Poulnabrone dolmen is a 5,000 year old portal tomb in the limestone Burren area of County Clare, Ireland. The dolmen consists of a massive flat capstone supported on several upright pillars, and would originally have been covered by a mound of earth. Archeological excavations found several traces of human remains at the burial site, which now stands as a stark reminder of an ancient civilisation. Looking back through the mists of time, who knows what ancient religious rites took place at this barren and windswept scene? Winner of the Heritage in Stone group challenge Stone Circles and Standing Stones.

  • Worth going to the larger view – lots more stars. / I shot this in winter under a full moon at about midnight at Lake Eucumbene in the Snowy Mountains, Australia. This was my first shoot outside at night in winter. It was minus 5 degrees and when I got back home and my fingers started to thaw out I couldn’t believe the pain – Lesson 1 for winter night shots – wear mittens at the very least! / These trees were drowned along with a whole valley to create a man-made lake as part of a hydro scheme in the 1950s. They’ve resurfaced as a result of a drought we’ve been having for the last few years courtesy of global warming.

  • Many many thanks to Michael for modeling this one…his granddad for the hat and to his aunty and uncle for lending us their beautiful bathroom for the shoot entire bathtub portraiture series

  • This is the second version of my ‘Raven’s Rest’ painting. Again, in watercolour. I like this one better, as it conveys more of a ‘painterly’ feel. This is the riverside park, on reclaimed land, on a formerly heavily industrial area on the banks of the river Tyne, in Felling, Gateshead.

  • GUESS WHAT? I updated my “samurai’s dream” design, i now call it “inner demons” because i added that cute demon in the front and, also, the creatures are a metaphor. everyone of us has his-hers dark side. so does my samurai here:) enjoy!

  • / / Anticipation features Jaeda posing with model Cliff. This photograph was taken from her Sensualisms series and is a part of the DeWalt Gallery collection. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Available for sale as Laminated Prints, Cards, Matted Prints, Posters, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / About This Image / Image originally photographed with Kodak CN400 film (black & white film that’s processed in C-41 chemistry). I had too much light in this shot, so i tried to balance things out, as best i could – using Adobe Photoshop. The end result being sensually surreal and ghost-like. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Featured in Jaeda’s Je t’aime, Je t’adore calendar. / / / You might also like . . . / / browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /

  • Idle hands may be the devil’s playground but boredom usually produces some of my most interesting shots. We were in Orlando and my husband was attending a conference. I had already swam and soaked in the sun and when boredom finally plagued me i began to examine the room, the interesting furniture and accessories, look into the rest of the interior decoraters choice. I turned on the lamp and this was what i saw. The shadow perfect. /

  • Reed shadows on water.

  • A waterhole near Lake Bonney showing how desperately we need an influx of fresh water in the River Murray. The same little waterhole but not done in HDR.

  • Stark Industries from Iron Man movie, billionaire Tony Starks company

  • Early home around Mannum South Australia. / Canon 400D – 18-55mm lense with Polariser, merged in Photomatix, cropped in CS2

  • Pastel

  • Ok , new direction for me. i’m trying to stretch my wings creatively and since I am already obsessed with cooking up color tones for my pictures, i figure the next step is to start inserting textures. I hope you enjoy and any constructive comments are welcome. info: RAW format / color tone / texture from :devlight-stock: Make: Canon / Model: EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi / Shutter Speed: 1/160 second / F Number: F/8.0 / Focal Length: 28 mm / ISO Speed: 200 / Date Picture Taken: Mar 10, 2009, 12:50:16 AM © Larry Stewart 2009 / No unauthorized use allowed

  • Stark tree sweeping infront of an old building with the last remaining leaves & nuts. / Textures layers added. / Camera – Panasonic Lumix FZ30

  • To be honest I can’t recall what I was thinking in this shot, except for I knew I wanted a pretty dress, and to have my feetl dangling over this half wall. There was nothing dark about the image I was setting out to create. Through the processing it took on a very dark feel, which is something I love about the post processing in photoshop. I feel the pictures often direct me on where they want to go. After I was finished this image was the exact opposite of what I was going for. Much better and packed with emotion. I love when that happens. Interestingly enough I think my sub conscience was working to express my feelings. Not literally of course, but this photograph has deep meaning to me metaphorically speaking.

  • Peach Orchard Beach…..Summerland BC Canada….a little amusing to see so mush snow in a place called Summerland :)
