Holywell Bay, Cornwall One of my favourite places on the planet. Holywell Bay is a small village on the north coast of Cornwall about 5 miles from Newquay (and 5 miles from Perranporth). Holywell Bay beach is a large, sandy beach with rolling dunes behind the beach, rock pools and a slow running stream. Breathtakingly beautiful!

Despite the weather this was a beautiful outing, the bird (not close enough to know the type) flew off some driftwood on the cay. It is a ‘must visit’ place if your in or coming to Australia. From my recent travels to Far North Queensland. Cape Tribulation Beach where the rainforest meets the ocean in the Daintree National Park.
