This calendar was created with various monochrome images from around the Atlantic province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Many of the images are nautical in nature including fishing boats, a wharf, abandoned shacks, an island in the mist, and other foggy images. Many of the images have a vintage nostalgic atmospheric feeling to them. Some are sepia-toned while others are pure black and white photos. All images were taken by photographer and digital artist, Scott Ruhs.

Why not get the matching card? / / / / This image was created in Photoshop using several different images (one of the moon and one of an unknown wild flower), numerous layers with varying levels of filters and effects, The glowing orbs were created in Photoshop using the lens flare filter then using the smudge tool created the subtle vapor trails behind the orbs.

An image of Greg, the drummer from my band, Under Pressure. An impromptu moment of Greg playing around with a guitar at a Birthday party for the other guitar player in the band back in the Fall of 2008. I hadn’t done much with the photos from the party. I came across this one recently and printed it out. I was quite impressed with the results.
