this is actually a very big hill and they are trees not bushes to give you a better sense of the scale of the image. If you look closely there are some people in this picture. Unusual for me in my landscape work. see if you can spot them. did I mention that this is an infrared photo ? just in case you hadn’t worked it out. :) this is it framed

This is a collaboration with myself and Bill Gamblin / Thanks for letting me use your photos Bill Inspired by Simple Man By Lynyrd Skynyrd which was also played in a tribute to Dale Earnhardts death Listen To Music I took two of Bills Photos one of which was the nascar track and race cars and another photo of Dale Earnhardt and layed them together erasing some of what was in one of the photos using photoshop, I then used the adjustment of opacity to blend these two photos together. I do hope you like this inspirational piece of what use to be and what will still be; because the simple man will still be watching over all of you and NASCAR… /

Taken on the same morning as the previous upload of Buachaille Etive Mor , this time looking in the opposite direction . While waiting for the mist to lift from the Buachaille and for a bit of light to break through , I noticed there was some nice effects on the mountains behind. The pictire lacks a bit of the colour and light we got later on from the Buachaille , but I think it captures that moody, brooding feel that Scotland often has . Thankyou so much for all your great comments yesturday and sorry I can’t answer everyone induvidually! Canon 400D , sigma 10-20mm , Lee filters F16 iso 100 . Raw
