Hi guys, I need some advice and there’s nobody awake here so I immediately thought of all my bubble friends.. I wanted to come up with an ‘alternate’ self portrait for a comp in a magazine. I’d like to know what you guys think of this? Can you even tell I’m in a dryer?? Any input would be really appreciated. Please tell me if you think it sucks….I might cry at first, but I’ll get over it….eventually. Promise I won’t hold a grudge if you don’t like it.. =-) Thanks in advance everyone. EDIT: I ended up winning the comp with this image and got a Sony A200 twin lens kit. Thanks for the advice everyone ;0)

8 inches by 10 inches. / Pen and ink on bristol paper. I began drawing a strange distorted bug in my sketch book one day and it just begged to be a final piece.
Just had to upload this for a laugh – My daughter Tilly annoying her new baby sister Daphne
This is my other baby cockatiel (I say baby but they’re 18 months!) Squish. We called him that because he likes it when you pretend to squash him. He’s a real acrobat and loves “going spaz” as we call it and flying around like a maniac. This is him (well, his wing) hanging off my boyfriend, one of the many things he finds to entertain himself.
A self portrait.

Mother and baby elephant at a water hole in Etosha NP in northern Namibia. The mother kept leaning onto the poor little baby. I thought maybe he would get squished!!

Inspired by an older show on HBO, The Kids in the Hall. My wife, Jeanette, was gracious enough to pose for me.
Squishy is notoriously difficult to photograph as he’s always on the go. Rarely a still moment when he’s out of the cage! Please don’t laugh at his lack of crest, his father is a plucker and pulled it out in the nest before I took him out for hand raising. He’s a beautiful bird, and loves arial acrobatics and is solid muscle!
