Surrealistic Digital Art / / _“Let there be light” is an English translation of the Hebrew יְהִי אוֹר (yehiy ‘or). Other translations of the same phrase include the Latin phrase fiat lux, and the Greek phrase γενηθήτω φώς (or genēthētō phōs). The phrase is often used for its metaphorical meaning of dispelling ignorance. The phrase comes from the third verse of the book of Genesis in the King James Bible: 1:1 – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. / 1:2 – And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. After going through some images I thought I would add another ripple shot since the first one got great feedback and an generated some sales. This one is out of the same sequence but a different format and slightly different colour adjustments. Hope you like that one as well. Waves created by a boat on totally flat ocean. I shot the window and Matt shot the leaf and grass. Love this! [Double Exposure Project #3 – Oregon and San Diego Exposed] This is one of the images produced through double exposing a roll of film with my amazingly talented, generous, and dear friend Matt Adamik. This is our third attempt at working with this process and I am in love with every image yet again. Matt lives in Oregon and I live in San Diego. He shot the roll first, mailed it to me, and I shot over top his photos. Neither of us knew what the other was shooting. The results are astounding and breathtaking. And fun! We will be collaborating on many more double exposure projects in the very near future. A wonderful way to bring Oregon and San Diego together, as well as the styles and friendships of two photographers. I am absolutely in love with this type of photography! I highly recommend it for everyone. Thank you Matt for everything! Goggles Down!
