Kings Bridge Road, St. John’s The Commissariat House is a nineteenth century Georgian building constructed by the British Military Engineers to house both the office and residence of the Assistant Commissariat General. A commissariat is the department of an army charged with the provision of supplies, both food and forage, for the troops. The radial blur effect was created by twisting the zoom and the camera in opposite directions while I pressed the shutter.
