Featured In: / -Spring Blooms-2 per day This mass of tulips last spring was so firey bright and the petals had such sharp points, it seemed as if they were flames of fire. These were situated in a local park where there is an extraordinary display of spring flowers every May and June.

by ccwri~ Rising Up ~ Its so refreshing to see the spring flowers after a long winter season, to watch the new colors rise to the calling of a new spring. / In my yard, Tulips bloom from late March through April, and / a few on into mid to late May . / Planting anywhere from 3 inches to 7inches deep, extends the blooming season considerably. I plant some a bit shallow, / for early blooms. Planting at different depths will insure there is a pretty patch gracing the landscape somewhere. As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS / Nothing like those first tulips in bloom, while the trees are still so bare. Spring is a nice change of perspective. /

/ LaConner, Washington The beautiful Spring Gardens at Roosengaarde in Skagit Valley are a sight to behold. I stopped by the last Sunday in April last year to see this amaziing display of tulips and rhododendrons. A beautiful memory and it always is on my list of places to visit in Springtime.
