This photo was taken at one of the Canola farms near the Stirling Ranges near Albany in Western Australia. Just as the sun managed to peep through the clouds during a thunderstorm illuminating the Canola field for about a minute before it started to rain again. Canon EOS 20D. Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.

The property was acquired by the State Park Service in 1990 and is slowly being allowed to revert to its natural state. / Beautiful floral gardens surround the spring, and the area is immensely popular in the spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The state also acquired Rainbow Springs State Campground, located nearby, which was formerly privately owned. From the campground, you can tube or canoe the crystalline waters of Rainbow River, or fish for large mouth bass and other freshwater species. / A nature trail provides a lovely walk past two waterfalls and the azalea gardens, and meanders along the Rainbow River. / /

This reminds me of gummy candies.. I think it’s the color. I was also craving gummy candies while editing this. So that explains a lot..hehe.. I took this some time in the fall when these berries were still on the tree in my front yard. Enjoy!

I took this sometime in the summer in my bathroom. There was a giant spiderweb on the window so I sprayed it with water… most of it ended up on the window which is the bokeh you seen in the background. Enjoy!

Something from the vault… another dandelion photo… I just keep discovering these, haha. There’s a gold mine of them on my hard drive. I don’t remember what I used as the background for this, but I edited the saturation to make the red really pop and it reminded me of star bursts. You know the candy, hehe… Enjoy!
