On a Springtime roadtrip through Yosemite National Park, the waterfalls were full and the dogwoods were in full bloom. These blossoms were from a tree near the beautiful Ahwahnee Hotel.

Seems that my brain is a buzz with Bee’s these days, as I can’t seem to take enough pictures. This one I tagged “Color of Springtime” due to the pageantry of color that abounds all around the shot.

Buttermilk Falls, in the breathtaking forests of Tillman’s Ravine at Stokes State Forest Preserve in northwestern New Jersey is a sight to behold. The waterfalls themselves are a series of smaller falls cascading almost 90 feet down the side of Tillman’s Ravine, which has become a favorite place of mine to shoot in northwestern NJ. This image was captured at the end of the day after a series of very strong spring storms occurred and the flows were quite intense. Gear : Nikon D200 – Nikkor 12-24 f2.8 ED lens – Circular Polarizer – Manfrotto Tripod with cable release. Settings: 24mm – f22 at 30 seconds. All content & images © Stephen Vecchiotti.
