‘Kids & Teens’ Series card by Karin Taylor Minky was created from preloved recycled paintings and textures in photoshop! / Minky would make a nice card for someone who’s just had a little baby and would look cute framed in a baby’s nursery
Acrylic on box canvas. 40cm x 50cm approx. This picture was inspired by a small waterfall called Mallion spout in Yorkshire England near Goathland where Heartbeat is filmed. / I tried to capture the greeness of the fall and the mist. / I find that places with water, rocks and woodland inspire and relax me and this is what I try to convey here.
Watering can filled with new geraniums plants. This is my first attempt at HDR with Kimberly as my patient instructor…

another candid taken at my fun little session at the fountains down at the Southbank, London. This one feels a little different to the other two, Timeless Delights and Simple Pleasures and I simply like the very different feel and atmosphere one can get all at the same location if one is just patient and waits for situations to unfold naturally … :) oh and what a delight!! A feature in the Candid Photography group May 2009 … thank you so, so much for featuring this piece lining it up with such a selection of fantastic works – an honour! ohhhh seems the childlike abandon of playing in the fountains is bringing more smiles and delight through this image … I’m ecstatic at the Competition Win in the German Artists Fotografie in Black & White Competition May 2009 … thank you so much :) !! Uuuuiiiii :) Featured in The Human Condition ... my heart is doing flick-flacks at how well this shot is being received :) Thank you!!! :)

Cool temperate rainforest – West Gippsland. A gorgeous little spot on the upper Toorongo river. At this point the river was just breath taking for me where it poured out over the moss festooned boulders into a beautiful pool with a sandy bottom. bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——

The Spouting Horn at Cooks Chasm is a spectacular sight. When the tide is just right it caused by the incoming waves that rush into a narrow fissure in the basalt shoreline underwater cavern and then compresses the air so there is a blowhole spouting water and vapor skyward into the air in a geyser-like plumes. When the hole blows there is a loud “Woomp.” / It is located on the Central Oregon Coast at Cape Perpetua south of the Devils Churn. Taken on 10/07/09 with a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS.
