Water – the most precious resource on the planet – is something we so take for granted in Scotland… what so many people all over the globe would give for even this supply….... I soaked my entire jeans leg taking this as i was kneeling in the swampy run-off from the fields on the hillside above but only noticed later when the freezing march cold began to bite! It’s amazing to me that the sky and clouds can be seen reflected in the flow! Taken in Peebles, scottish borders, below Glen Tress, getting splashed! :) Slightly cropped to remove an annoying grass stalk but otherwise untouched. Taken with a pocket fuji finepx a500

Watering can filled with new geraniums plants. This is my first attempt at HDR with Kimberly as my patient instructor…
another candid taken at my fun little session at the fountains down at the Southbank, London. This one feels a little different to the other two, Timeless Delights and Simple Pleasures and I simply like the very different feel and atmosphere one can get all at the same location if one is just patient and waits for situations to unfold naturally … :) oh and what a delight!! A feature in the Candid Photography group May 2009 … thank you so, so much for featuring this piece lining it up with such a selection of fantastic works – an honour! ohhhh seems the childlike abandon of playing in the fountains is bringing more smiles and delight through this image … I’m ecstatic at the Competition Win in the German Artists Fotografie in Black & White Competition May 2009 … thank you so much :) !! Uuuuiiiii :) Featured in The Human Condition ... my heart is doing flick-flacks at how well this shot is being received :) Thank you!!! :)

It has been raining and raining and more raining here in Oregon…but I don’t get so depressed now that I’ve discovered that there are some amazing rain pics out there! It was raining so hard today that I just had to take a break from all my paper work and go outside and take pics of the rain gutter. This is one of several that turned out surprisingly good.
