This is the original render of the fractal I exsanguinated to make Hell is Life Without Colors / Syd Baker asked what its colors were if it had any to begin with. There was another version in pastels but I overwrote it. I do love this one a lot and I’m glad it didn’t disappear. By the way, I always name my fractals befroe I render them and this was “Blood Splatter” from the very beginning. It actually looks more like an arterial spray… / /

Winsor & Newton Watercolours on (Strathmore Cold Press Watercolour Paper-i think? It was so long ago i’m not sure of the exact paper type). Background was drawn with Watercolour Pencils, then wet and blended. Later I splattered some more watercolour. I drew this owl a few years ago, and found it last weekend when I was cleaning up my spare bedroom. What a nice surprise! So, I finally decided to bring him to life! I think i had previously cut the bottom off to fit in an 8×10 frame, shame on me!
