water droplets splashing, some of the droplets were shooting out at a different angle while others were dropping down and this was the result when they crashed. It’ll never happen again LOL. I might crop out the big droplet that’s falling…I can’t make up my mind :) recent retouch / /
An untouched close up(with exposure)of a submerged brige when a few beaver’s dams just collaps a couple of nights ago.I couldn’t drink or even used the water in my house for 2 days.We were not able to go out of our area for a day.It happenned at night and we could hear the raging fload so loud,it was amazing. The firemen were at the bridge watching when I took that close-up.This image is the result of the destroyed bridge, half of it just went along with the water,a very impressive scene to see and to hear because of the dead trees and rocs rolling over the road. The little touches of colors you see are the reflection comming from the lights of the firemen’s truck.I didn’t know if I would have enough light,in fact I didn’t have any idea about the result.I thought about using exposure for the creamy texture….I just remember that my boyfriend kept asking me,how much time you still need,5 or 10 min. and I answered 15 …. :)) He wanted to go to sleep,it was 1 o’clock in the morning. / / /

I was having my coffee this morning on the balcony while watching the rain and it gave me an idea so here it is! This was taken of the rain coming down on the balcony balustrade with the clouds in the background. I know that there are lots of amazing captures of splashes here on RB but this image really wasn’t about the splash, to me, it was more about the capture of morning rain. Lemon splash into water – another cliche shot that like water-drop shots is something that should be tried. A rainy sunday today finally made me try this using a couple of flashes and a glass flower vase (as my tank). Thank you very much to John Wright for inspiring me and for passing on some great tips and information and he told me to look up Strobist water drops . There are two videos on there. One on how to photograph a splash of water which I found very helpful. Also one called Time Warp-Water which is most definietly worth watching! Next project for me…..making two drops collide mid air…..yeah…..right!
