I see creativity and spirituality as very closely related. Not that all spiritual people are creative or indeed that all creative people are spiritual (I can see many a drunken artist vomiting in horror at the thought). More I see the relationship as one of purpose. Both activities aspire to bring meaning into our lives. And, of course, through the ages art and religion have been deeply connected. Art and spirituality, it seems to me, occupy the void created by human beings’ consciousness of their own mortality. They stand between us and the terrible darkness of non-existence. Our art, in its absolute non-utility, imitates the gods we increasingly fail to believe in. Enabling and encouraging more people to be creative is to shatter the priestly control of the arts. Everyone has a place at both the spiritual and artistic altar. The pompous and arrogant would deny access. Others would deny themselves–in fear or ignorance. This is impoverishing. The spiritual or aesthetic expression of all souls enriches us all. In the great sharing, our fear of the void becomes transformed into a wonderful beauty infused with unknowable meaning. Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox

18×24 acrylic on canvas I painted this one for The Divine Feminine’s challenge “Loving Ladies”. This is my favorite goddess of Love, Lakshmi. This is not your traditional painting of Lakshmi, for instance, I didn’t give her 4 arms. But I think it captures her beauty and femininity. Lakshmi is also the goddess of beauty and wealth. She is kind of like the goddess of the law of attraction. In truth, Lakshmi teaches us to accept our beauty and to find true happiness in the realization of the abundance of our soul.
