Great River Gum, / How i pass you by. / A daily ritual, / I have come to know. / Your wisdom permeates / The very land i dwell. / And reminds me, / My time on earth / Is temporary. / You are the reason / I seek, / The inspriation, / The passion. / As human there is / So much to learn. / You are ancient / Yet ageless. / Every season, / I learn / Something new / From you / Old Friend…. Jayne Wozniak 2008
This tree root is on the northern periphery of our property. We’ve lived here for over 35 years, and it’s been here all that time, in exactly the same state you see it here. I marvel at its perfect heart shape and think it’s a little note from God to remind me of his undying love. I borrowed the title from the refrain of a hymn written by Father John Foley, S.J. / Here are the lyrics of that hymn: Dwelling Place / by John Foley, SJ I fall on my knees to the Father of Jesus / The Lord who has shown us, the glory of God. May He in His love give us strength for our living / The strength of His Spirit, the glory of God. May Christ find a dwelling place of faith in our hearts / May our lives be rooted in love, rooted in love. May grace and peace be yours in God our Father / And in His son. May Christ find a dwelling place of faith in our hearts / May our lives be rooted in love, rooted in love.
THE GIFT OF PRESERVATION As i strum the chord / Of a wishful tomorrow / I pray that humankind / WILL TRULY SEE / And….. / The great Lands / And seas / Will grant a future / All life / can celebrate Jayne Wozniak 2008
Several photographs were merged and manipulated in Photoshop CS2 to create this fantasy landscape. And one cried to another and said: “ Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; / The whole earth is full of His glory!” ~Isaiah 6:3

I have always loved ruined and bare country chapels where the outside elements seem to be brought in through the windows and shafts of light. To me, the deep greenwood and forests are nature’s chapels, which can bring you closer to the divine than any grand, gold guilded cathedreal. For me there is no seperation between the divine and the natural world around us…..and I have found peace and harmony many times amongst the sacred Celtic springs and ancient trees in forgotten corners of this country. This image was particularly inspired by the small holy wells of South West Cornwall, where even to this day poeple leave offerings and gifts to the water elements and the old Gods.
This is actually the symbol for ‘friend’ and is on the bottom of my wooden wind chime. /
OIL PAINTING ON PART OF AN OLD CRATE / Image Copyright © 2008 JANE À PARIS I was really ill and upset one day, so I painted her quickly on part of an old crate. A friend of mine liked her, so I gave the painting to her. I actually think she turned out kind of neat too, for something that I painted rather rapidly and a little sloppily. At least I feel I did a good job conveying my emotions… Being stuck in wood, refers to the fact that they, my oppressors refer to my body as wood; which can be cut, chopped, burned, screwed, glued, manipulated, sawed, molded, chewed on, finely finished, and etc… In other words, they use physical pain and torture as a means to punish me in life and control my life, and my life’s events, or at least they try to. I have been like this for thirteen years, so I guess they are not very sucessful, at least at finishing what they have started…and I did this in just a few hours. Ha! SET ME FREE

Nikon D80 / F10 / 1/40th sec / ISO 200 / Nikkon 18-200 vr lens So I have always heard and read….Pro photographers never leave home without camera gear! So aspiring to better myself as a photographer I carry my gear everywhere i go. One day as I was driving to my bosses house I noticed the sun shining through the misty trees just across the street in such a way where they just seemed magic!..... In reality it was far less dramatic than the image leads you to believe. But I am happy I was able to capture it because within a few moments they were just the same ol woods across the street from my bosses house again. / BUT, If you would like to imagine that the light illuminated a hidden path that led to a fortune in gold and jewels or whatever…. thats fine too.
Photomanipulation created in Photoshop CS2. I hope this encourages you! This baby fawn has been hanging around in my back yard for a couple months now. Finally got a picture of her! She is so beautiful I had to incorporate her into one of my pieces. I hope she finds her family soon because she is always wandering around alone. But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, / My glory and the One who lifts up my head. / -Psalm 3:3
A mezuzah is affixed to the doorframe of Jewish homes to fulfill the mitzvah (Biblical commandment) to inscribe the words of the Shema “on the doorposts of your house. Many families place a mezuzah on the front door only, but observant Jews fix one on every doorway in the home apart from bathrooms, and closets too small to qualify as rooms. The parchment is prepared by a qualified scribe who has undergone many years of meticulous training, and the verses are written in indelible black ink with a special quill pen. The parchment is then rolled up and placed inside the case.
View from inside the Cocathedral St-Antoine-de-Padoue in Longueuil, Quebec built between 1884 and 1887. / This beautiful construction of gothic inspiration has been designed by two architects, Albert Mesnard and Henri-Maurice Perrault. There are two asymmetrical towers in front, a very rare occurrence in Canada, although there are a few in France.
