  Back in 1991, I was inspired to paint this from a card a dear friend had sent me, it somewhat looks like the card, but not really. The most interesting thing that showed up in the painting was the ‘face’ in the clouds, it is my husband’s father and my spirit guide since I was about 13 years old, who led me right to his son 11 years later… / Posting this for Alison Pearce , who wished to see this, as one of her first pieces resembled it (desert scene). / The medium is acrylic.
