I thought I’d found a reason to live / Just like before when I was a child / Only to find that dreams made of sand / Would just fall apart and slip through my hands / But the spirit of life keeps us strong / And the spirit of life is the will to carry on / Adversity what have I done to you / To cause this reclusive silence / That has come between me and you / And the spirit of life oh-ho remains in light / And the spirit of life oh-ho remains inside / I never thought it would be quite like this / Living outside of mutual bliss / But as long as the veins in our arms still stand up / The spirit of life will keep living on / ‘dead can dance’
I am constantly searching for the SPIRIT of trees and forests and have found that I am drawn to the mystical in my subjects. They speak to me and challenge me to hear their stories and capture the ethereal rather than the absolute concrete. Using my camera as a brush on the forest palette of greens, browns, reds, ambers, yellows, grays, blues and purples I create my images in camera capturing a moment in time when I have stopped to listen and share the sylvan secrets offered to me. Here a group of pines, planted in rows along a country road offers up their story, through a visual whisper. The Path in wonderland. / I Love this image a lot , Spiritually i would call it / ” The road less traveled ” which is also a title of a book that i enjoy reading. / —-—-—-—-—-—— Sally Omar / got inspired by my work and wrote this amazing Poem to go with this Image ,Thank you sally / —-—-—-—-—-—- THE PATH There is The Path of the unknown / Where I walked all alone / No one there by my side / Afraid to run wanting to hide / But as I walked there was such peace / All my fears suddenly ceased / I felt the hand of God calling to me / And the trees and the clouds guiding me / I walked this Path and felt no fear / Knowing that our Maker was near / I prayed aloud wanting Him to listen / Asking him what was my mission / I heard a Voice say down to me / Be a good person and one day you’ll see / A Heaven that is beyond reverie / You shall be honored at the Gate / Where your Lord and God await / So turn around it’s not your time / Live your life and you’ll do fine / When you’re ready for this Wonderland / I will be there to hold your hand.
Travelling through Arizona I noticed so much desolation, abandoned structures, disconnected souls… which prompted me to stop and listen, I’m fascinated with connecting sound to the visual medium. / How do you visually capture the sound / of desolation…this is my attempt…. The transparency of the girl shows a dissociativeness with the landscape. / Is she there only in spirit? Not only until one is heard completely do they connect totally with their environment.
Created in camera. I am constantly drawn to the beauty of forest and trees and the spirit of the place. With this in mind, I often try to capture more than a documentary view of place by listening to the whispers of trees and grass which guide me to the path between reality and a spiritual connection. In this image the living mystery of Spring emerges.
A manipulation which i havent done in ages! HEY! If there is any models in the norfolk area let me know!

Emotions Resist them, and they will destroy you. / Wallow in them, and they will drown you…. / BEcome them and they will rule you. Yet these are the radio waves between the inner core of your being and the All There Is…a link between your knowing and not knowing…… an elusive clue to your many questions. Acknowledge them and they will speak to you. / Feel them, and they will guide you… / Honour them, and they will reveal the deepest truths of your existence.

The third in my series “The Soul Of The Forest” / I think that forests and forest creatures have their own protective spirts. Have you ever leaned against a large tree trunk and felt the spirit of the tree? Most people feel peaceful, when in a forest, not only is that due to all of the extra oxygen given off by the trees, but it is also due to the friendliness of the spirits within that live there. This image reflects the light of the one true spirit, the God that is in all of creation, may his love shower down upon us all! Image take at Union Creek, Oregon First time I’ve ever been able to photograph such beautiful light rays! What an experience! C3C80_EFBE9_60EFB I have been fortunate to have this piece featured in the following groups: Olympus and Four Thirds, Natural Color and Light, Mountains and Mountain Light: Thank you so much for this honor!

/ / nurture / The act of nourishing or nursing; tender care; education; training; That which nourishes; food; diet; The environmental influences that contribute to the development of an individual; see also nature; to nourish or nurse / en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nurture Media – pencil and photoshop / Substrate – paper I can’t explain this, ‘cept to say, it’s inspired by our connection with nature and the fragility of life itself sometimes, the message coming through is to nurture life by way of fostering goodwill toward one another and accepting we have a duty of care to our natural world also. Because Easter is approaching I thought it appropriate :) The child’s sustenance, or umbilical cord if you like is coming from a tree, symbolic of the healing that nature can bring….the new life and growth that comes with nurture both of spirit and of nature. Humility is understanding our rightful place in the scheme of all things, including nature, family structure and the wider community…... a world where there is tolerance for all, is the one i pray for

.’Enter the Faerie Forest where all the secret spirits & creatures live. Dark & menacing, whispers and rustling. Something calling, beckoning you on, strange sounds emerging from the depths.Hold tight to the railings as you walk along the bridge, who is that at the end is it Angel or Daemon..is it a leap of faith I see before me?.... This wondrous poem by kind permission of sweetForestGirl “Through the dark to the light / of the Angel / on the other side … / Let the Spirit of the Forest / Be your Guardian / and your Guide … / Save us from the treacherous / the ones who seek / to see us fail and fall / Find the beauty and the truth / that is waiting / at the end…for us all”.... .?guess the title?..solved by blamo ..am feeling full of mystery & enchantment today, so thought we could have some fun lookin’ for a title eh? lol! view LARGE & here’s a wee story to find the clues… ...Spirit ...Save the Rainforests ..a first experimental digital creation using redfield fractalius superimposing fantasy art …inspired by the song .. ...
