This painting was inspired by my Spirit Guides like all my paintings. It may stir the viewer to see what needs to be thrown away or torn down and whatever remains can provide us with an opportunity to recreate ourselves. There are many doors we walk through in our lives and this painting reminds us to close the door behind. Freeing us to do more things, which may help us to understand our choices and visions. Grounding us without unbalancing our personalities, helping us to awaken a Spiritual understanding, which can help to transform our fears and accept our paths, whatever they may be.

Open the Door and Let Her In…... The woman watches / As the broken man begins to dance, / Could it be that in her presence / He is falling apart, / Or that the warmth of her gaze, / Finds him gradually becoming whole again. / His freedom, her absolution. Whew… it’s now 2:00 a.m. and I’m done with this. Including make-up and taking the photo of myself, photoshop, etc 4 1/2 hours of work. I felt the need to make something. I haven’t made a single new piece of art since September and I felt out of touch with myself (yeah everything so far that I’ve poster was “older” work). This is pretty much the vision I had, not quite what I wanted, but my artwork usually never ends up exactly as I had wanted it. I love it regardless. I originally wanted hot pink hair but couldn’t find the right wig that I own that would work for that. This character is kinda like the controller of time, the god Chronos or also known as “Pluto” the god of death and time. Living at the end of time, if you make it angry it’ll warp you into another dimension lol.

The third in my series “The Soul Of The Forest” / I think that forests and forest creatures have their own protective spirts. Have you ever leaned against a large tree trunk and felt the spirit of the tree? Most people feel peaceful, when in a forest, not only is that due to all of the extra oxygen given off by the trees, but it is also due to the friendliness of the spirits within that live there. This image reflects the light of the one true spirit, the God that is in all of creation, may his love shower down upon us all! Image take at Union Creek, Oregon First time I’ve ever been able to photograph such beautiful light rays! What an experience! I finally got inspired to finish her. I made her a lot bigger than the others in the series, so that should appease her for me taking so long on her. / She is the Spirit of the North Wind. It is the wind of Winter and of death, but also of rebirth. She gives us the wisdom to overcome death and to know it is not the end. We must walk through the Northern gate at the end of this life and she will be the one to usher us through.
