Morning rowers on the Yarra River in Melbourne. Shot this morning for a project I’m working on at the moment. I arrived just before 7am, and took this at about 7.30am. It was SO COLD! Notice the moon above the Herald Sun building. I wanted to add some human interest to show people interacting with the city. The rowers rowed on by just as the light was good!
The Vatican in Rome silhouetted against a radiant sunset
Derry’s Guildhall from the Diamond area of the City – in the foreground is part of the local war memorial. The town is currently adorned with many flower hanging baskets rich in beautiful colours. The lampposts are going in a deep descending order as the street (Shipquay St.) steeply descends towards the Guildhall. Shipquay St. is said to be one of the steepest streets in Europe.

Cathedral of Our Lady, Antwerpen, at dusk.
I took this photograph on a cold December morning at sunrise. The sun was behind me hence the golden reflection on buildings. During the winter the views are very clear and crisp. Clouds were approaching and very soon covered the sky. I have another photograph I shot a few minutes later when it got cloudy. You can find that photo here as well.
An abstract colorful work inspired by the city of 100 spires, Prague. Closeup:
In my post processing of this image my goal was to make it look like a 1930’s style hand painted lithograph postcard. / /
