  • I found this unique looking plant at a park in San Francisco (Golden Gate Park, to be exact). I love not only the symmetry but the geometry of this plant and it’s uniqueness because I’ve never seen anything else like this. This photo was asked to be used in as the cover of a children’s science book in South America. I didn’t use any Photoshop at all on this image. Just a tiny bit of Picasa! The plant is the same color as it appears in real life.

  • Made in Apophysis. I had a suggestion to offer this image in print sizes – so here it is!

  • Once again I agonised over uploading this image, unsure as to whether it really is “RB-worthy”...however, I love this building, and wanted to share another view of the quite amazing / crazy staircase with you all. I’ve given it the full HDR treatment to ensure it looks even more insane than it actually is…! See more of my work at Dan Biggins Photography.

  • The way the spiral shapes are placed in this composition reminds me of Protection. The big spiral curls around the little one like it is “saying”: “Don’t worry I will always protect you”. / I created this fractal with Apophysis and I played with the parameters of a spiral script. • Fractal design created with Ultra Fractal 5.2 / This fractal design reminds me of curls and curly sculptures on furniture / Designer: Thea Walstra /

  • This is named for the original params of a spiral shell that were shared with me and I tweaked my little blue brains out on them. This was one of my favorite results. It looks a little like cloisonne beads to me. Made in Apophysis 2.08 3D Hack and postwork in Photoshop CS. I hope you like it.
