/ __________________ Fictional traditional painting, 13×18 cm / Acrylics & gouache on black canvas. / Creation Date: 26.03.2009 I did this painting because I actually saw in my dream last night a crow. I took it from some place that I don’t remember. I was holding it with my hands and I do remember perfectly that in a weird moment I turn my head back and the crow was sleeping. It was the most strange thing I ever saw in my life – I remember I was watching the crow sleeping and breathing exactly like it was a human or even closer, I was feeling like I was watching a little puppy breathing. — / / — © All images copyright ROUBLE RUST / Spyridoula Bleta / All the images in this gallery are copyrighted, are NOT part of public domain & may not be reproduced, copied, edited, transmitted, uploaded, downloaded, or published in any way without my permission. …and weightlessness. I’ve been pondering these opposing yet complementary forces lately, looking at their effects on our minds, bodies and spirits while experimenting with capturing movement. I especially like the way the early evening half moon shines brightly through the figure in this one. What is it? / This is a long exposure shot capturing the rotation of the Falkirk Wheel in Scotland – the world’s first revolving canal boat lift. It takes approximately 4 minutes to fully rotate and lifts boats up to the next level of the canal. An amazing piece of architechtural design and engineering, apparently it only takes the equivalent power of boiling a kettle to power each rotation.
