A conchologist would recognize this shell configuration as not quite earthly but then again, most dreams aren’t – and who knows what a shellfish dreams? (4 spirals instead of 1 – a quadruplet!) I love the patterns, colors and reflections in this piece. And it makes me think of the beach; a big attraction to me. This version is slightly cropped on the top from the original. This is part of 3 peices. Granted I orginally did the crop to make this picture alone, this became the idea: / The other two pieces are no longer uploaded to Redbubble, but if you are interested in them just drop me a note More Fractals by Karri Klawiter —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / This piece can be found in my Digital Abstract Calendar. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- For products featuring this image, visit Karri’s Zazzle Store /

This is an experiment with a special “Newton Twist” formula, created by Toby Marshall. The spirality is unusual for a convercence fractal, so I’ve decided to work a bit with shapes, to emphatize it with a simple shape, and without using complicated algorithms.
I haven’t created a new fractal in a while, so I thought it was time. For some reason, I just can’t break myself away from the whole sphere thing. Even my paintings when I was younger all had some sort of sphere. Someone once told me it was my secret signature, who knows? Don’t ya just love the title though? The tones of this piece reminded me of coffee with lots of cream, maybe a rounded sugar cube, hense the Expresso reference. And the rest, well hey, it’s an abstract, I can name it any ridiculous name I want! LOL (ok, so I’m watching Ghost Hunters, so apparition just stuck in my head :P ) Created in Apophysis 3d Hack This piece was featured in the Abstract Art group and the Fractal Frenzy group. An underground society on this planet spews out spheres, at the cost of polluting the air with fractals. / : ) / This was made in photo shop elements using apophysis206_3Dhack layers manipulated. (Including the landscape.) Also used were the plug ins “flood” and “super nova” for the stars in the background. The spheres are ps shapes with lens flare added.

Just as a sphere / No start, no end / Love for my dear / And life long friend / / My love for you / It knows no bounds / Once born, then grew / And still compounds / / Forever love / Brought to my life / By peaceful dove / My precious wife / / Poem written for my beautiful wife, Deanna / / This fractal artwork is a symbolic image abstractly depicting the perfect love. The sphere of infinite hearts represents love that has, just as a sphere, no beginning or end. The hearts within the sphere are infinite, continuously duplicating and replicating, to represent love that is continually refreshed and renewed. The vanishing point background depicts a love that goes on forever. / / This fractal was created in Apophysis. The gradient used in the fractal was created in ApoMap, a gradient editor often used with Apophysis. The background was created with PaintShopPro. The composite and post-processing were done in Photoshop. / / Here are some cutaways of a couple of sections for a closer look /
Deep into space the dark dragons dwell. On silent wings they glide from galaxy to galaxy. Their black eggs are known to us as Black Holes. It takes a long times for these eggs to hatch, longer than it took for mankind to appear on this world. But one day in eternity the young dragons break their shell and leave to find their own universe, and behind them they left the broken spheres, transformed to black diamonds…. Fractal made with apophysis 3dhack.
