Self portrait at speed. Taken on a home made cardboard wide angle pinhole camera mounted over the front wheel. Shot on 5×4 format Fuji Velvia 50 iso sheet film – 26 second exposure. This was used as the cover image of Velovision (an English cycling magazine) issue 8 about four years ago.

Long exposure of a train entering Union Station in Providence, RI. Captured with a Diana+ with a 35mm back and cross processed Kodak Elite Chrome 100 film. No photoshop manipulation, but the negative was woefully under-exposed, so the scanner had its work cut out to bring the darkened photo to life. “Warped Speed” is featured in the Experimental Photography and Editing and Rhode Island groups. My baby (EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS Lens) finally got some workout!! Last Saturday we went for a shoot. It was 5:45 start, the morning after my daughter’s Debutante ball, ( here, and here), and I had less than four hours of sleep. Only after we got to the location, I opened my bag and – imagine the shock!! – realised that the previous night I took all the filters out – since you don’t need The Black Glass for the dance night!
