A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3

I decided to make a shirt with just the bird from my Whistle drawing. Why? Cause I’m thinking about buying it myself, once I have lost some weight (so I can fit in the M size). =P There is a version for dark shirts (this one) and one for light shirts here . I also made an Illustrator version of the bird, but after some feedback on the forums decided not to post it. I created this design in Illustrator, specifically to be printed on t-shirts. This character came out of months of experimentation. Since I work in the animation industry, a lot of my characters are inspired by cartoons I see on T.V. I have been drawing characters since I was a kid, constantly exploring different styles. Character design is something I find myself continually working at. This illustration for me represents my own personal growth as an artist and the reality that I will never reach an end destination, and that my art is a journey where I am constantly learning, experiencing and seeing new things. I guess I never want to stop seeing life like a kid does…
