Redefining comfortable tshirts. As in, you’d have to be REAL comfortable with yourself to pull this finger. I mean, pull this one off. :o)
A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3
I decided to make a shirt with just the bird from my Whistle drawing. Why? Cause I’m thinking about buying it myself, once I have lost some weight (so I can fit in the M size). =P There is a version for dark shirts (this one) and one for light shirts here . I also made an Illustrator version of the bird, but after some feedback on the forums decided not to post it. You can see them all here . / If you are interested in them though, be sure to let me know. =P For the Boy version of this shirt, go here
The “race” speech Barack Obama gave in Philadelphia is bound to be one of the greatest speeches given in our American history. I can imagine future generations of school children quoting his words and phrases for years to come. I wanted to display part of Barack Obama’s speech along with his vision for America.
An appropriation of larry david. / Manipulated image of him.
Adapted from an old disarmament t-shirt from the 70’s – it originally read ‘stop the arms race’.
anticipating the king’s words, his lyrics are deep and his voice fill with passion.
Since I already had the bird on a shirt, I decided to finally do the same thing for the Whistle boy, so he can now be on his own shirt, yay! =D This is the Bird version of the shirt, which you can find here
“And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of our world – our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand. To those who would tear this world down – we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security – we support you. And to all those who have wondered if America’s beacon still burns as bright – tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from our the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope.” Photoshop combo of two images. (If you are interested in buying in bulk, i.e. 20 or more, please contact me and I’ll drop the price for you.) I have been following the Iranian elections for a while now. After the “winner” was declared, I really got into it. This man claims to have won by a landslide, even in his opponent’s hometown. Corrupt? I think so. After the results were announced, supporters of Moussavi (the opponent) began to protest, as they too thought something was fishy. Protesting led to rioting, which lead to police, military, and paramilitary forces killing seven people and wounding many others. These others are now living in fear. The government has raided schools. They are tracking Iranians on the internet, trying to shut down the internet, and are kicking all foreign media out of the country. Twitter.com has exploded with this. Iranians are sneaking on to send news and photos. People around the world are changing their location to Tehran to confuse the Iranian government that is searching for Iranian bloggers. They are setting up proxies. They are sharing news. They are giving support and advice. It is amazing what people will do for each other. Sadly, it seems that most people and much of the media doesn’t care. Media groups are focusing more on the Letterman joke than on the people murdered. People in the younger generations are getting nothing. I had someone ask me if Tehran was a person or a place; that’s how bad it is. So imagine if you show up to class, or coffee, or work, sporting this. People will ask. And you can tell. Keep Iran Free. I created this design in Illustrator, specifically to be printed on t-shirts. This character came out of months of experimentation. Since I work in the animation industry, a lot of my characters are inspired by cartoons I see on T.V. I have been drawing characters since I was a kid, constantly exploring different styles. Character design is something I find myself continually working at. This illustration for me represents my own personal growth as an artist and the reality that I will never reach an end destination, and that my art is a journey where I am constantly learning, experiencing and seeing new things. I guess I never want to stop seeing life like a kid does…
