Of course the brothers were talkin mess, Chipmonk is gets really emotional, I mean Hip Hop is religion to him, along with me too but he really hates MTV! I don’t blame him, but I always remind him that if it were not for MTV we wouldn’t have received all those Earth frequencies about the Earth’s style of music. But but he still hates MTV. At least they don’t still play that horrible Madonna type crap like they do on the planet Clemotron. Well that’s it for now, we are going to work on some more songs. “7th Son out”

It dawned on them fairly early that I didn’t have a big enough whiteboard for the job so the windows of the farm where pressed into service. Peter, Fran and Ed had gathered with me, to think about PR at RedBubble. At least that is where it started but it rapidly became about communications. And at that point we had to ask what is we wanted to say. Hence the need to bring the windows into service. There was surprising unanimity. We have never seen what we do as being a print-on-demand site (a sort of tarted-up Kodak) or even an “art” site exactly. We believe creativity is important because it deepens our humanity. We aspire to enable people to be more creative and to share this creativity. What will come out of all this. Firstly you get to see Fran on a trampoline. Normally, I would be happy with this from the day. But there is more. Mostly it will be about more engaging, interesting (possibly strange) things from us. Things that speak about our own creativity. Why? The why is because this is the richness of life. This is what we want to do. A child picks up a box, gets inside it and finds a spaceship. We don’t want boxes at the Bub, we want spaceships. And we want to help others to make spaceships also. Sometimes we will share each others and sometimes we will travel alone. We may have to write a little about this but mostly it will be about doing. Firstly, while writing this journal entry I’m not under the influence of pot, cocaine, Penfolds Grange 1970, Bex, Earl Grey Tea or Gladys Twaddle. It dawned on me (and I suspect many others) that you’d have to be spaced out to scrawl on your windows with textas. Surely the home care lady would be mightily pissed off? Is scrawling on windows a new way to save an Amazon rainforest? Gee, I hope we don’t have to wipe our bottoms with a small sheet of silicone-coated glass in the near future. Of course this leads me to ponder as to why RB staff are being employed on huge salaries to play on a trampoline. What’s wrong with having highly-paid staff swinging in a car tyre hanging from a gum tree? Sometimes I truly wonder what the world has come to. Martin in his off the planet spiel said: “And we want to help others to make spaceships also. Sometimes we will share each others and sometimes we will travel alone. We may have to write a little about this but mostly it will be about doing.” Makes perfect sense, eh? Not to me. I don’t share my toys with anyone anymore. One of my best mates stole my bag of marbles and cowboy suit last week, so forget that idea. Who hasn’t come to Redbubble to make spaceships?
