Fracal galaxy horizon. Created with Apophysis
This artwork was featured by RB group: / Mature Men / This artwork and other giclées are available at My Gallery ‘Genesis’ looks like a planet or sun that is being formed in some mysterious way, or traveling through a wormhole or void. If you view it as a star, then it might also be titled ‘Birth Star’, as opposed to the Star Wars “Death Star”. This artwork is a composition of many different layers, everything created digitally without any photo sources. The sphere and rectangles are actually composed of groups of very small rings giving the surfaces a textured effect. There were many, many thousands of them used to create this art. Apophysis 2.08, with much help from the new Xaos tab! Got the original parameters that this was made with from Uncle-Keeps on deviantart, and Pantherwitch helped alot with the fine tuning of the planets! A view of a planetary system found on the edge of the galaxy.

As they approach one another their combined mass and gravity begin to form a black hole, tearing the fabric of time and space. The spectrum of light is halted in it’s tracks as a new black hole forms it’s event horizon. / / The fractal artwork was rendered with ChaosPro 3.3. The gradient was created with the ChaosPro gradient editor that is packaged with the program. The two stars were painted into the finished fractal using Photoshop. The stars were the only post-processing done to the fractal image. /
I was way too lazy for uploading these pictures one after the other, so I decided to pack the whole theme in one picture: / First the BIG BANG, then the pulsating energy radiating in all directions, after that first atoms bound together, forming cosmic nebulas, from which stars and galaxies are born. / So here we have my neat little universe, all handsome and tiny, in one piece, for everybody who wants a fractal science poster. / Maybe looking at this picture you will remember that you are just one dusty particle in an abundance of worlds and universes. Do we really dare to call ourselves the crown of creation (or evolution, depending on what you believe)? Fractals made with Apophysis and Fractal Explorer. / By the way, it´s my first fractal collage…
