First fish Freddy of the original Siamese Fighting Fish clan, blasts off in his bowl. His mission, to avenge the insults levelled at his earth cousins, by grumpy humanoids. Aggressive and down in the mouth, indeed! He would show them, the water in his bowl was adjusting for space flight, shimmering slightly as the shock wave passed and he entered orbit. Soon he would shut down the hyperlink wormhole drive, drift gently into suspended animation, and wait. He clutched his shoalshifter, armed with the latest IRBMs (inter-reef ballistic missiles) and smiled, not that anyone would have noticed. He drifted into a deep sleep, as his bowl iced over and sped towards earth… My offering in a three-way collaboration. ChrisW wrote the story, “Dinner With Fighting Fish” and will add a ref photo. If my image fits Chis’ concept, then master paintograher, Cliff Vestergaard, will weave his magic.

To describe my painting I have chosen an excerpt from the written work, Venus and Adonis by William Shakespeare ...”Never did passenger in summer’s heat / More thirst for drink than she for this good turn. / Her help she sees, but help she cannot get; / She bathes in water, yet her fire must burn: / ‘O! pity,’ ‘gan she cry, ‘flint-hearted boy: / ‘Tis but a kiss I beg; why art thou coy?...” A hearty thanks to my friend Rebecca Cruz who let me paint her lovely photo titled Koi / Her gallery is wonderful and full of bold, colorful and beautiful work! This artwork was featured in The Love Of Eerie and Enchanting Artwork Long before I ever made my own artwork, I used to do a lot of looking through online galleries like digitalblasphemy.com and 5thdimensionstudios.com. The artwork I liked best contained glass orbs floating on a still surface. I always thought they were so enigmatic… ...Stock Credits… / Background / Stock copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.
An experiment with water droplets, glitter, a CD, wrapping paper and light. I had some metallic paper reflecting in the CD and the flash from my camera made it very interesting with all the glitter. This is the kind of thing I do when it’s too cold to go outside…. haha. Enjoy!
Well, I’m back from my trip to the farm …. back to civilization ..ie..the internet. I took lots of photos – way too many.. Here is one I took at a stop over in Sydney. This is a fountain at Olympic Park and naturally the first photo I post has to be infrared. PS..Can’t wait to check out all the work everyone posted while I was away =-)
All that we know about everything / is a fraction of what we don’t know, / we’re trying to find where we came from / but we haven’t a clue where we go. We’re alive on a planet in space / and we try to survive if we can, / but all we know for certain is / we’re a species of human called man. To be sure there is a future / not just for the human race, / Surely we should respect our planet / and the hazards it faces in space. Take a look at the wonderful universe / such a picture of beauty and grace, / and everything that goes on out there / helps to keep our world in it’s place. by Dreamcloud / www.allpoetry.com Just a little note background is a hubble telescope image.

Full Moon with reflections. (B&W) By: / Terri~Lynn / 2009
My new found love in photography is mixing layers and layers of images. I have already had some wonderful finds of layered work in reflections but this kind of editing brings it to a whole other level. Finding what works well with another image is a challenge. But one that I enjoy very much. I have learned the in’s and out’s of working with layers by trial and error. If you’re thinking of giving this a try, I hope you will give your self time and not worry about the failures. The result is so worth the frustration of figuring it all out!! /
