  • Single blossoming tree in spring.

  • And what a beautiful state of the art facility it is. As the sunrises, the traditional space-age classic moghul architecture compliments the towering megatropolis skyline of the vast and beautiful Lahore Skycity. This is one of Earth’s most beautiful cities and if I had to choose personally what could be one of the best places for the new headquarters buildings I would also gladly choose Lahore Skycity. -

  • This is a sign of spring for me, especially now, when some Robins have started to stay year round in Colorado. This picture was taken at Crown Hill Park, near Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The park belongs to Jefferson County Open Space, and they have a wildlife sanctuary in one corner of the park, where I got this image, in February 2008.

  • Something kind of old…ish that I found on my hard drive. I remember trying to hold the camera with one hand and trying to hold up the single dandelion seed against the sky with the other. Haha, it was kind of difficult. I don’t like using tripods! Anyway, Enjoy!

  • With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /

  • Best Viewed Large This particular image, for me, exemplifies the area around Tucson, Arizona, as I saw it. Vast expanses of land with the MOST amazing, sharp mountains rising up from the flatlands. Cactus and other colorful vegetation happily growing away in the harsh climate … subtle beauty everywhere. Image taken on the afternoon of April 17, 2009 from the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, looking across the Avra Valley … Saguaro cactus pointing toward the clear blue skies. Nikon D40x with the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens and the cp filter. Shutter 1/250, aperture 5.3, exposure 0.00, iso 200. Orton post processing in Photoshop.

  • Beauty emerges in the spring as the snow melts on Parnix Prime.

  • Nikon D300 / 18-200mm / 30.0 f/3.8 ISO160 / Filey at night / North Yorkshire, UK

  • Nikon D300 / 18-200mm / 15.0, f/0.0 (don’t know why?), ISO160

  • On my world the spring is always a good sign, new visitors blossom from the fields, meadows and hills. Sometimes strange new flora and fauna appear. But this spring someting quite unique appeared in our skies, flying machines of incredible design, and there are creatures in them, they call their race “human” and they say, we come from the stars. It is a time of wonder, and we always need new friends.
