Jawbone of a cow on abstract art.
While visiting the Grand Canyon, I entered a place called The Watch Tower. I was too much of a sissy to climb to the top. Waiting below while my husband and son made the climb, I looked up to see this marvelous ceiling filled with what I thought were Petroglyphs (carvings in stone) but realized that they were in fact Pictographs (paintings on stone). The symbolism is from the prehistoric art of native american peoples. Each symbol represents the spirit of who created them. As I snapped away on my camera, I was awed by the colors and textures. This piece is an abstract of what I photographed. Later, I will upload the original image that inspired me. I hope you enjoy this one.
This guy came out after a heavy storm in the desert. / I thought it turned out pretty well since it was 9:30 at night and all I had was a small flashlight and the onboard flash. / He is about 2 inches in length. Shot in Cave Creek, Arizona.
