  • Seaside pool, Eden, New South Wales, Australia.

  • Tiffin (snacks eaten during the day) are readily available on the streets of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. ALL of these were very SPICY and DELICIOUS! (I tried them all!) I was very happy here because for me – the spicier the better! Whenever I get Indian food in Melbourne, I’m often dissapointed – they always try and not ‘hurt’ me with chilli!

  • These children at the Meenakshi temple in Madurai, India were begging me to take their photo. Entry fee: $1 / Shoe minding fee: 20c / Camera ticket: 40c / The look the boy’s giving the girl: Priceless!

  • Australia Rock, Narooma, New South Wales, Australia.

  • The South Pacific Ocean near Narooma in New South Wales, Australia.

  • South Georgia is an amazing place, although the beach where this image was taken, Salisbury Plain, is out of this world!!! / / The image was taken from a hill and is of king penguins and their chicks. There are approximately 250 000 penguins at this breading colony! It’s amazing how they find each other! The sound as you come over the hill is tremendous, not to mention the smell!! / / The chicks are so inquisitive and come right up to you. I think they just want some food! / / (Salisbury Plain – South Georgia) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

  • Machu Picchu, Peru / A Majestic Landscape surrounds Machu Picchu More work of 945-ontwerp can be seen on his website / Digital prints can also be bought here

  • This stunning beauty was the most amazing dancer!

  • Sunrise at about 3 am, 65 degrees south., Gerlache Strait. Most people were tucked up in their beds, but for the restless, the freezing decks were the place to roam..Barely a moment’s darkening of the night before this happened.. then I felt I could go and sleep a little..

  • The Sydney Harbour Bridge is not just grand; it’s amazing. It’s one of those things where, the longer you spend studying it, the more amazing little details start to jump out at you. I love the subtle fractal nature of the bridge. The large, repetitive crosses that form the two arches are themselves made up of many small crosses, and the large triangles that run up each side joining the arches are constructed from many triangles. Is it on purpose? / Or just a freak of Engineering? / Either way, it’s beautiful. Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Like this photo? Get a print of it and hang it on your wall! /

  • Autumn afternoons in the Western Cape are often magical. This was Friday afternoon – just got home from work, grabbed my gear and headed to this Camps Bay tidal pool, a place I frequently photograph. What a perfect way to kick off the weekend!

  • Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery View from Doug Sky Lookout Mt Kaputar National Park, New South Wales. The Mt Kaputar (pronounced cap you tar) National Park lies to the east of Narrabri (approximately 53Km) and to the west of Barraba (approximately 55Km). Mt Kaputar, on the western edge of the Great Dividing Range, is the highest point until you reach Africa, and from its peak (on a clear day), about 10 percent of New South Wales is visible for 360º. The Mt Kaputar National Park is very much a local secret and holds a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife, including many threatened species. As much as 17 million years of erosion has sculpted the now extinct Nandewar volcano and what is left offers a majestic skyline of rocky outcrops with spectacular views. Mt Kaputar’s summit is 1524m and there are 11 marked walking tracks. Sets of Two / Camels Hump

  • King Penguins hanging out at Salisbury Plane on South Georgia . / / This is one amazing island that you all must try to get to, if you don’t mind four days in rough seas on a boat that is!!! But it is truly worth it…. / / This image was taken at a place called “Salisbury Plain”, where there are approximately 250 000 penguins! The sound as you come over the hill is tremendous, not to mention the smell!! / / Salisbury Plane – South Georgia

  • On the road again – Kangaroo Island, SA I have to tell you – it doesn’t get much better than this for someone who enjoys travelling and photographing Australia’s great outdoors and its native wildlife. This cute chap is lucky – we were driving along slowly, enjoying the scenery on Kangaroo Island. We stopped to take photos and then usher the Koala off the road. Other critters aren’t so lucky. We have witnessed not only roadkill on our travels but the distressing sight of cars actually running over helpless creatures.
