Was wondering what everyone listens to while they’re creating all their awesome art, or floating around here with the rest of the bubbles? I pretty much like everything, from Turkish Fusion to Thievery Corporation to Tony Bennett to Tool – and everything in between that doesn’t start with T …just thought it was kinda cool ;)

  • I love queen / what can I say

  • I really like Queen

  • When I first saw the MIA challenge this morning, the first song that came into my head, was / All for LOVE / from the movie soundtrack ‘The Three Muskateers’, as this is how I feel about being a part of such a creative inspiring trio in “MIA”, and my fellow muskateers, Paul and Blamo… When it’s love you give (I’ll be the man of good faith) Then in love you live. / (I’ll make a stand, I won’t break) I’ll be the rock, you can build on, Be there when you’re old, to have and to hold. / When there’s love inside (I swear I’ll always be strong) Then there’s a reason why (I’ll prove to you we belong) I’ll be the wall that protects you from the wind and the rain, from the hurt and the pain. / Let’s make it all for one and all for love! / Chorus:Let the one you hold be the one you want, the one you need, ‘cause when it’s all for one it’s one for all. When there’s someone that should know then just let your feelings show and make it all for one and all for love. / When it’s love you make (I’ll be the fire in your night) Then it’s love you take (I will defend, I will fight) I’ll be there when you need me. When honors at stake this vow I will make: / That it’s all for one and all for LOVE! (Chorus) / Don’t lay our love to rest ‘cause we could stand up to the test. We got everything and more than we had planned, more than the rivers that run the land. / We’ve got it all in our hands… / NOW it’s ALL for ONE and ALL for LOVE (It’s all for Love)! (Chorus) / Sung by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting Let’s make it all for one and all for Love…of Music… Creation was began in Apophysis, a drawing layered and played with photoshop7. / /

  • As I awoke to this first day of 2009, I am grateful to the breath of life and the beating of my heart, in rhythm with all those I love, respect and honor. As a peacemaker making resolutions (decisions as future actions), I decided that a RE-Solution was more appropriate, under the circumstances. RE- meaning ANEW and solutions, meaning the solving of a problem. As the vibrational energy sets my heart afire with the light of PEACE, the ONE feeling, being and vibration I wish most for our planet and humanity, I contemplated just how to activate them. Calling forth images of PEACE, I chose 3 images: / This image of myself bathed in the light of peace and love; holding hands with all those I love, honor and respect; and, Nature thriving again and respected by all. I allowed myself to be anchored with the feelings that these images emanated. / I then wondered what these vibrations would smell like and the first thought that came to my mind was Sandalwood, a scent that always calms and grounds me. / My imagination swirled with a rainbow of colors to choose from, that also reminded me of this feeling I wish to emanate, and my personal choice was Indigo, the color that resonates with perception, thought and morality, as well as in-sight. / Choose a phrase, was what ‘popped up’ next in my mind’s eye … as I heard the Dalai Lama say, “When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also develop inner happiness and peace.” / Synonomous words of Peace to enhance the frequency, choose two…tolerance and non-violence came to mind. / Music always seals the deal for my soul, so choosing a song to accompany this recipe was in order, so many to choose from and low and behold from my 300 CD player, Robert Palmer begins singing It takes every kind of People – so this will be my theme song for this vibration. / What actions or behavior can I do daily that will keep this vibration or light shining, easy answers came…continue meditating and communicating with people around the world. / Writing out these details made them more concrete, visible, touchable and my training knows that if posted around my space and read upon daily (at least for the next 21 days), it will become a regular expression of the state of being that I have chosen for my Peaceful intentions. Inspired with the help of Debbie Ford ;) What images, smell, color, phrase, synonyms, song and behavior do you wish to emanate for 2009? Self-portrait altered in Photoshop7 with redfield plug-in fractilius

  • Norman Greenbaum – Spirit In The Sky Lyrics: When I die and they lay me to rest / Gonna go to the place that’s the best / When I lay me down to die / Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky / Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky / That’s where I’m gonna go when I die / When I die and they lay me to rest / Gonna go to the place that’s the best Prepare yourself you know it’s a must / Gotta have a friend in Jesus / So you know that when you die / He’s gonna recommend you / To the spirit in the sky / Gonna recommend you / To the spirit in the sky / That’s where you’re gonna go when you die / When you die and they lay you to rest / You’re gonna go to the place that’s the best Never been a sinner I never sinned / I got a friend in Jesus / So you know that when I die / He’s gonna set me up with / The spirit in the sky / Oh set me up with the spirit in the sky / That’s where I’m gonna go when I die / When I die and they lay me to rest / I’m gonna go to the place that’s the best / Go to the place that’s the best Inspired from the Movie Soundtrack “MICHAEL” with John Travolta in 1996 Photograph of our western skyline, drawn spirit in the sky with wacom graphic pad/pen then Redfield plug-in fractilius…

Not directly related to photography, but stay with me for just a sec . . . I’m so excited at my experience this morning of looking at RedBubble images while listening to new releases at Magnatune.com that I just have to share! As a long-time fan of Magnatune , I found myself enjoying the RedBubble experience so much more when it had a soundtrack! I was listening to Soulful Filling when I saw Sharon Johnstone’s Rainbow Shower , and it was all the more amazing. I saw David Murphy’s amazing new moonlit rose and happened to be listening to the soundtrack to the video game, Braid and I found myself transported (really nice shot, David!). You can listen to WHOLE ALBUMS for free at Magnatune , and when you buy, YOU decide how much you wanna pay (really!)—so if you really like it, pay more, if it’s just ok, pay less. And whatever you pay, the artist gets a whole 50%! (Magnatune is not evil like other record companies) Bottom line is this: if you want to enhance your RedBubble viewing experience, listen to Magnatune’s Depths of a Year or Himlens Polska as a RedBubble Soundtrack, and just experience the difference! (I’m getting paid NOTHING by Magnatune—I just like ‘em!) (there’s lots more different music there than the stuff I’ve highlighted)

  • In Native American legends, the crow could talk. Because of this, it was considered one of the wisest of birds. The sacred bird of the famous Ghost Dance was the crow. / The crow is considered to be the keeper of all sacred law, the one who knew the deep mysteries of all creation. Seeing a crow in certain situations was an omen of coming change. Spiritual crow power could lead a seeker to the gates of the supernatural… / This one ‘cawed’ in the season changing, shot as is, out a window in our front yard, inspiring the article written for Earthmonster Illustrated the digital arts ezine to celebrate creativity ~ follow the crow on over and check it out…

  • The dragon in one form or another was known to the majority of world cultures in both the Old and New Worlds. It was one of the early symbols of the Great Mother Goddess of the Matriarchies. Until the arrival of patriarchal societies, the dragon was considered to be a sacred, benevolent creature; its serpent body symbolized matter and life-giving water of creation, its wings spirit and the sacred breath of life. / In spiritual definitions, the dragon represents the supernatural, infinity itself, and the spiritual powers of change and transformation. / Wacom Pen creation in photoshop7
