  • Oak trees shrouded in fog atop a ridge in the Shenandoah….I hope you take the time to contemplate being on top off a mountain, in thick fog and feel the peacefulness and utter silence of the image, slow down there is no rush on tranquility. Loose yourself in the dreamy feel of the fog where nothing quit seems real.

  • July 2007 / Acrylic on canvas, 8” x 10” This pattern is inspired by traditional and modern celtic knotwork designs, based on the meditation wheels used as an aid to concentration and relaxation. • A drop of water on a pretty pink rose from my garden.

  • Condensation inside of a water bottle…. I have too much fun with those things, haha. The background was some metallic wrapping paper that I use a lot. I used my sigma 105 mm macro lens and extension tubes. Enjoy!

  • I found a plastic turtle sooo… I thought I should do something with it. :D I placed the turtle on a mirror with water on it.. there was some glitter on it from something else so I just left it. The green stuff is Easter basket grass that I horded and now use for the weird stuff…. including this. Enjoy!

  • Finally spring is here and the snow is melting… I took this a few weeks ago when the sun was blinding against the snow in my garden. There are still interesting things to photograph even though everything is dead…. Enjoy!

  • Thank God Winter is finally over. I took this back when nature couldn’t make up her mind if it was Winter or Spring… :D I dried baby’s breath in my plant window for months and finally put it to good use. I adjusted the white balance before shooting to tungsten for the blue tones. Enjoy and Happy Easter!

  • There are places that heal just by their mere existence. The ancients knew this and used temples and stone structures for healing ceremonies. Doreen Virtue speaks of healing temples where ArchAngels are invited to come to use their healing energy. Angel Therapy is a non-denominational spiritual healing method that involves working with a person’s guardian angels and archangels, to heal and harmonize every aspect of life. / Everyone has guardian angels, and these angels perform God’s will of peace for us all. When we open ourselves to hear our angels’ messages, every aspect of our lives become more peaceful. The angels are here on earth now more than ever, as we strive for peace, compassion, and tolerance in today’s world. They bring us guidance and reassurance, but mostly they bring us reminders of the love that exists within each of us. —Doreen Virtue Listen and be soothed

  • Meadowlark Lake in the Big Horn Mountains, Wyoming. My husband and I just returned home from a wonderful vacation through the Badlands, Black Hills, Big Horns, Yellowstone, Tetons and Rockies!! We spent practically one entire morning at this particular spot in the Big Horn Mountains – so relaxing, it really soothed our souls!

  • This is a gnarl fractal I made using Ultra Fractal 5.02. The gradient is my own custom gradient.

  • I love nature, and often meditate, the fragrance from my garden now in bloom, lush with brilliant white Jasmine’s fill the air with a luring scent, I picked a small branch off and decided it was time to reflect their true beauty and try to capture their fragrance by way of using the macro lens and experiment with a natural light source from a simple television screen as the backdrop. This is the end result straight from the camera. I hope you like this.
