  • This photo was taken on a trip down to Inverloch beach (Victoria, Australia)... on that day the sea and air were so quiet we were like standing still in time… Thank you so much for the plethora of comments everyone, I am glad this has touched so many people :) All proceeds from this image are donated in memory of my little boy Noah to the / Fanconi Anemia Research Fund. / Fanconi Anaemia (FA) is a rare inherited (genetic) disease, leading to progressive bone marrow failure, chromosome fragility and high cancer susceptibility.   • A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.

  • chinese water dragon napping / (Lizards should not be left on their backs for any extended time as they could suffocate in this postition. This lizard’s breathing was carefully monitored.) /

  • this is my adorable son and our dog – the two of them have such a lovely bond it is really sweet to see and i think this captured it really well, but i can see why they say working with animals and children is not always the easiest thing to do… taken with a nikon D80 + 50 mm 1.4 nikkor lens on a tripod with a flash and soft box (over the flash) ISO: 100 / f/stop: f/1.4 / shutter speed: 1/250
