a digital collage done in PSP X, with a fractal background done in FraxPlorer… altered in PSP and with some filters. this image is after a title by sonny & cher, bang bang … unfortunately i was not able to locate an original video with both of them singing it, only videos of cher on her own, in a version i do not really like. still.. here is a link to the video Cher Bang Bang i am also enclosing the text of the song, for those interested. i am dedicating this image to my beloved baby-sis.. and all those people out there who were ‘shot down’ by a loved one; this is not about.. guilty or not.. when a realtionship goes into a deep crisis it takes two for that.. but that is not the subject here. the subject here is.. the moment of truth.. when realisation hits… that cold feeling in the gut.. when the truth hits home.. your baby has shot you down.. that family castle you have built up together over the years, is no longer a safe haven.. instead it has turned into a cold, unfriendly, alien place… nothing is like it was before.. it hurts, it’s scarey.. then end of the fairy tale is open…..... bless you all… may you all find love and peace … and the strength to forgive.
