My twelve year old daughter really enjoys softball and other sports. She has wished to play football but at the moment none of the schools are allowing girls to play. She likes makeup, talking on the phone, cute clothes…but she also has that tomboy in her.

I use a series of S curves similar to that of cartoonist to create movement and rhythm though out the composition and figures, much like the wall murals of Thomas Hart Benton. The colors in the images blend the backgrounds and figures together to build visual interest. Many other artists state that my color work is that of Van Gogh. Just like him, I flip my values so that there is tension between forms. Some of the painting strokes are broad while many are very thin and detailed. Art Buyers (and art lovers) will see the symbolic stories of yesterday and today. / The series is about Tons of action and fast paced sports that are illustrated and inspired by women in sports.
