As it is titled…homeless man in Sydney.
This seemed such an incongruous sight, but why not do business outside in the sun if you can? The image has been viewed 156 times up to 11/11/09, but apparently not yet by anyone who knows the subject.
The iconic sketch of the stages of evolution is changed to humorously represent the new status of women. There is no attempt to indicate which one should adapt :)
Late summer sun setting on the Yorkshire Dales – I find the contrast in land/ landscape and social history of Lancashire and Yorkshire so interesting.
REVOLUTION IS THE SOLUTION! / / /
Digital Montage / An original painting on canvas was photgraphed and worked in Photoshop with layers to place the figure on a construction site. / The Backlash in this case is about equal rights in the workplace. Some women in predominantly male vocations like the defence forces and on construction sites are having a rough time of it in Australia.
MARLEY, MARIJUANA & SOCIALISM [2008]: Digitization of one of my heroes. Not too many people know that Marley was also a socialist. In fact he used to campaign for socialist causes through the use of music such as his form of roots Reggae at protests and demonstrations. His original message has always been one that is so simple of a term and yet so rich in semantics: ONE LOVE.

Back Drop: / 18 Aug 2008 … The conflict has also rendered 158000 people homeless, according to ...................................WASHINGTON (CNN) Too many people are becoming homeless for different reasons in Bangladesh and across the world. / / Few lines form a love poem / ”... / At day’s end, like hush of dew / Comes evening. A hawk wipes the scent of sunlight fom its wings. / When earth’s colors fade and some pale design is sketched, / Then glimmering fireflies paint in the story. / All birds come home, all rivers, all of this life’s tasks finished. / Only darkness remains, as I sit there face to face with Banalata Sen. / From Banalata Sen By—Jibanananda Das / Translated by Clinton B. Seely. Footnote: / *I was trying to see this poem from a homeless point of view. In “The Birds Nest” I see “darkness” as conflict, war, occupation, invading, global worming, natural digester, earthquake, tsunami, flood,—poverty, hunger, social injustice…(list could be more long) / -also a world, where a birds nest is not so safe. / But I have hope, see the lights…
Having once been there myself I thought this image captures the feeling of having no where to go

conceptual explorative urban spaces series….exploring & commenting on the unconcious human interaction of cause & effect in the urban spaces. this urban space was once a home for people who perhaps were financially disadvantaged, it will now become a “home” for those who are financially advantaged..as our society continues the corporate “developments”, and our materialistic focus, and an insatiable apetite for profit, are we losing our ability to live with a sense of humility & simplicity..? Or has consumerism & capitalistic gain taken over…....?
HIV/Aids orphan … looked after by one of the older Sisters … I met the Sisters in Mozambique, visting the orphanage. A beautiful facility, in a poor area, with happy kids playing in the courtyard. Ambitious? If The Shoe Fits… Wear your ambition proudly, in any colour you wish! The shoes in this design will appear in the colour of your T-shirt. Red tee = red shoes / Blue tee = blue shoes It’s that simple!! A do it yourself selective colouring! You like to buy a great pair of shoes in all your favourite colours, well by all means, don’t hesitate to indulge! After all, a t-shirt is much less expensive than a pair of shoes… George, a.k.a Monocotilidono , a good RB friend of mine, sent me a bubblemail today concerning the original design of Social Climber Tee . He suggested that I make the shoes transparent in order to have the colour of the t-shirt show thru. I thought that it was a fabulous idea, and immediately went to work, converting the design to black and white instead of the slightly sepia tone, in order to fit a wider choice of t-shirt colours. I think that it looks great!!! Thank you to George for sharing his brilliant idea! Click the thumbnail below to see the original opaque version in a slightly sepia tone /

I heart Laura Linney!! She’s a little cutie and a hell of an actress! and of course the stars, they love me, either that or I have a really loud (and charming) voice for them to turn around and pose for me! :) From The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 1.25.08 in Los Angeles, CA @ the Shrine Exposition Center. I heart her…. She’s so funny. Heres Eva Longoria looking extremely well relaxed…wow. Her face looks so well rested. I was calling her name very loud as she wondered off. I was able to get this shot of her…... From The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 1.25.08 in Los Angeles, CA @ the Shrine Exposition Center. Canon 40D 28-105 Lens. More to come!! :)
PPODBODD ANTI- BANKER T-SHIRTS. / This t-shirt is part of my one man fight back against the banking profession. / If you are as angry with bankers for ruining the economy as I am, you’ve come to the right place! These people are laughing at us because they think they’ve got away with it. / It’s not much, but you can help me fight back with these t-shirts. / Wherever a banker goes when outside his gated enclosure I want them to see a reminder of how ordinary people feel with a choice piece of ‘101 uses’ artwork. THIS IMAGE / Oh dear, it’s a bit naughty but lets face it, this is what they have been doing to us over the past 10 years! This humorous t-shirt bears the image of our intrepid financier going where the sun don’t shine! It should make the ideal gift for someone in the medical profession. / Maybe someone in the medical profession who might be wearing it as one of our banker heroes is rushed in to get the champagne cork removed from his nostril after a bizarre restaurant accident…............ ...........ahhhh, you can picture it now can’t you…......... Who said satire is dead…
He comes in the night. Silent and alone. Losing his painted identity he slips between shadows with a silent ease that can only come from centuries of perfecting the hunt. Climbing stealthily through the open window, making no sound he fills the room with a permeating stench of malevolence. No time wasted. No scraps left. He feeds. Not only feasting on the flesh, but devouring the soul. He laughs to himself quietly. They come to him by the millions. Like lambs to the slaughter. Worshiping him in his tiled, grease filled, chemically cleaned temple they sacrifice their health on his sesame seed alter. They call him Ronald. My submission for the Social Conscience challenge.
