That truly beautiful coat has brought this animal into the endangered species area. It is also one of the smallest of the big cats but has the largest canine teeth – measuring up to 9 inches – of all the big cats. Habitat is usually jungle and the cat is nocturnal. I was at the local Duckpark again, hoping to catch the Brown Pelican I have seen there a couple of weeks ago. The Pelican was not there, but I take this shot as a trade off. I was trying to use the settings Marvin Collins has given us recently, my shutterspeed should have been just a little higher than the 1/400th I used. I wished that the eagle’s face would also have been illuminated by the sun. Ok, so after a few excellent suggestions, I used the dodge & burn technique on it’s head and wings. I like the results better already. Thanks a bunch !!!
