I guess ferocious kittens need an Oobie every now and then Kitten cuddles a toy cow. Hubby gave him the toy cow, and kitten actually dragged it close and hugged it to himself. Hubby tucked the blanket around him. Winner in the ‘Gives Us A Hug’ Challenge Cafe Contest Thanks to those who voted on it!

Brody and Daddy having snuggle time in bed. I love the way that they are looking at each other. I feel as though that they couldn’t be a dad out there that loves his son as much as my husband. I know there is but it’s amazing to see how much he loves his boy and I feel that this moment shows it in their eyes.

This is Snuggles the Adventure Cat on the trail to Kau Crater. Kau is a small volcanic crater (containing a swamp!) high in the Koolau mountain range above Honolulu. The trail to the top follows a stream and then climbs four waterfalls to a small patch of grass and Norfolk Pines overlooking the crater. See Also: Bad Cat! / The Hawaiian Mountain Lion

My original Love Birds painting has gotten a very positive response over at zazzle, and seems to be a crowd favorite! I’ve sold several cards and things with that design on it, so I wanted to make another one for those people that are not crazy about pink! I decided to make a second Love Birds with new, bright colors, smaller birds, and added some detailing to the leaves. I’m happy with the result and hope you like it! Watercolor & Ink

Other of many images taken in the Golden area this fall as we were driving by. This herd of Big Horn were on this pull out along the highway just grazzing and relaxing so we pulled in and observed them for awhile. Many other “tourist” like us did the same and these guys really didn’t seem to care much. So after probably 5 minutes, we saw one of the males walking towards another male and we were thinking here we go, a challenge right in front of our eyes but instead we got to witness what appeared to be an Affectionate moment. It was quite cute to see and this was the best shot that came out of this series. No idea what this all meant but we sure took in this moment. This infant squirrel was carried in the mouth of a Golden Retriever for most of a morning. The owner saw “something” in his mouth, but didn’t check it out for hours. The baby was warm and cozy—and hungry by the time I picked her up. Good Dog. Good Squirrel. It was the second time it had happened in my squirrel rescue experience.I wrapped her in a tissue and I stuck her down my blouse for the ride home. I was a poor substitute for that sweet dog’ mouth, but we made it until she was set up on a heating pad.

This little snuggle bunny is Mia. / She was a shelter cat, has been fixed. But now is in a home where she is loved. / She reminds me more of a teddy bear who loves to snuggle, play and Purr.
